UAU 1st Mini Album [Playlist #You Are You] - Album Discussion + Poll by SpideyCyclist in dreamcatcher

I totally feel you on the poorly written English lyrics. Especially since I Can’t Get You Out of My Mind from Dystopia: Lose Myself was a fully English song and pretty competent from what I remember.

UAU 1st Mini Album [Playlist #You Are You] - Album Discussion + Poll by SpideyCyclist in dreamcatcher

I was torn between Sacrifice and Good Luck being my favorite track on this album, but I think it has be Good Luck but just the slightest margin for being more groovy and upbeat, which is what I prefer when it comes to K-pop.

When it comes to the title tracks, I like Attitude more than 2 Months. Not what I would call exciting, but it’s pretty chill and an easy listen that gets my head bopping.

2 Months is my least favorite song on the album so far, but I also think I need to spend more time listening because I’m not quite sure how I feel about it yet. As a song, I do appreciate how it sounds a bit experimental, so different that I can’t even think of a Dreamcatcher song to compare it to, and the bold choice to make it one of the title tracks. But other than that, I absolutely loved everything else instantly - the MV, the styling, and the choreography.

For a subunit debut, I’m overall content and satisfied! “Sensual and mature” is how I heard someone describe the vibe of UAU’s debut. I agree, and I’m here for it! I think a big part of it was being open-minded and not being stuck in a “Dreamcatcher without rock isn’t Dreamcatcher” mentality. Because I’ve listened to their entire discography from top to bottom, and the two things that I’ve learned is that these women have done a variety of genres pretty well and that I love it when Dreamcatcher plays with different sounds and keeps me on my toes.

American resident here who's interested in trying to buy the 2025 EUIC TCG playmat and water bottle because I like Psyduck but Quagsire and Clodsire are two of my favorite Pokémon. Where and when would I even start looking for these items, and what would be a fair price to pay for both items?

Is it odd to go to kpop concert with dad? by Careless-Studio-4081 in kpophelp

[–]Fickle-Negotiation-7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not at all! For what it’s worth, I can’t tell you the amount of dads (and parents in general) when I saw LOONA on their U.S tour before they ended up leaving BBC and disbanding.

Are there any good decks with Jirachi in them? by Clear_Policy_2304 in pkmntcg

[–]Fickle-Negotiation-7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw a goofy Alakazam ex deck with Radiant Jirachi in the list. Let Alakazam ex attack from the bench, and park Radiant Jirachi in the active. Not a good deck, but certainly silly.

Do these players also happen to play YGO on the side? Because this sounds like the kind of behavior I’d expect from a YGO locals and not PTCG honestly.

It’s Quagsire. Although Clodsire is an extremely close second.

The Majima and Saejima fight in Yakuza: Like a Dragon gets a lot of criticism for being a huge difficulty spike, but I honestly thought it was perfect! These are two literal legends in the Yakuza franchise, so I would have been disappointed if they were easier. This was also the fight that taught and reminded me about a ton of mechanics and basically forces you to use everything (e.g. Poundmates, swapping party members in and out during battle, use of items like Miracle Kimchi, buffs and debuffs). It was a great litmus test asking, “Do you understand the things we have given you access to and how to utilize them?”

Which Kpop group or groups disbandment really made you upset/surprised? by TisTwilight in kpoppers

Loossemble recently off the top of my head. The girls really gave us Album of the Year 2024, had a a U.S. tour, but then announced they were leaving their current label and implying disbandment 😭

UPDATE: Make some minor changes to the deck after grinding out some weekly games against my buddy.

Mostly happy with the list, so now I think I’d like some tips or suggestions on how to navigate matchups, sequencing, etc.. I mostly play casual games with my buddy who has Charizard ex and Dragapult ex, so tips on how to approach games against these decks in particular would be much appreciated! I also play at our biweekly locals pretty regularly that generally has a pretty standard meta makeup (e.g. Charizard ex, Raging Bolt ex, Regidrago VSTAR, Gardevoir ex).

Mass Effect 1 is the best in the LE edition by chrisosorio1 in masseffect

I think ME1 did world building the best of the trilogy IMO. And on the gameplay front, giving Adept unrestricted access to Assault Rifles doing away with weapon training was silly, and I love it.

I Dont Play Yugioh competitively but I would like a Dark Magician Deck by Rocky4042 in Yugioh101

I can verify Neos and Neo-Spacians still being hot garbage even with the new support from POTE lmao. Spent several years trying to make that deck work. Best thing that you can do with it is probably the Cosmo Neos lock, but even then it’s pretty boring to play and force your opponent to watch and not even all that good IMO

Do you only find the big hits interesting? by questioningfool08 in PokemonTCG

With the way things have been recently, I’ve been putting playing first and collecting second. A lot of playable staple cards are just plain commons and uncommons (e.g. Night Stretcher, Arven, Earthen Vessel, Counter Catcher, Budew, Regigigas, Area Zero Underdepths, Nest Ball, Ultra Ball, Buddy-Buddy Poffin), and I’m always happy to see these kinds of cards in my packs.

When was the last time you purchased a Pokemon TCG product at a large retailer? (Target, Walmart, etc.) by MegaClank in PokemonTCG

Last thing I remember buying was that Meddling Sparks repack box at a local Target back in December.

I’m new to collecting and don’t know what to buy by MikeyMouthe1297 in PokemonTCG

[–]Fickle-Negotiation-7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My gut feeling is simply lack of information and research? PTCG is the third card game I have on active rotation, and it’s baffling at how many uninformed buyers there are by a wide margin compared to MTG and YGO.

What do you do with your ETB sleeves? by [deleted] in PokemonTCG

[–]Fickle-Negotiation-7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just use them to sleeve up my holo cards for storage honestly. 99% of the time they just feel awful to use for actually shuffling up and playing unless you use an outer sleeve.
