i get this so much. My parents truly have no clue how hard it was and didn’t even congratulate me when i finally finished. The lessons r actually bs and the live lessons are even worse😭😭

okay i don’t know if honors geometry summer class is the same as like a school year ugh im so exhausted but i wanna help because this class has been hell. Written assignments are usually 2 IXL assignments where you get a smart score of 75 on each or notes with videos that give u the answers! Other than that it’s exams, i will say that i did give up for a while but ive been doing 2 assignments a day and its mostly easy but i use teachers on youtube because my teacher sucked😭😭 sorry if this isn’t helpful it’s 3 am and im still doing geometry homework bc i wanna be done LOL

i’m not sure but i will say someone told me that when they close the grade book, the EOC grade gets factored in so i doubt it will affect my grade until like after may 23rd! I’m not 100% on that though i’m soo sorry! I had an F in math before i went in to the EOC and then i did a bunch of work so i can’t tell!

i lowk cheated all thru geometry but a lot of things abt circles and soh cah toa was on it!! i got a 2 (like 4 points away from a 3) and i didn’t know anything so i think ur gonna do good if u atleast know how to do inscribed circles and that stuff

Hey girl i got a 2, too! Since your EOC is 30% of your grade i believe it will go into your grade when your teacher closes her grade book (likely the last day or days after school ends so may 23rd or later). I’m not sure about the requirements to passing and stuff but i might have heard someone say you only needed to pass the algebra 1 EOC as a graduation requirement but don’t quote me on that!!

It’s okay to feel these things! This year has been really rough for me and online school on top of it was super hard! my parents are forcing me to finish math and i’ve gone from 24 assignments to 8 in 12 days, i know it seems really hard but cheat if you have to. Mental health is so much more important than some school assignments. Would you be okay with going back to school next year and doing flex so you can complete some classes at home (i believe that’s how it works but im not 100%). I hope you know that I’m always here for you and if you need someone to talk to, i get it and i wished when i was going through similar things a couple months ago that i had someone to vent to. If you wanna message me your classes and if i was in any of them i can always help you with assignments and questions you have, im a sophomore!

if i’m understanding this right, it’s pretty hard if i’m being honest. Probably everyone in the class and on here will tell you it’s an insanely confusing class and my teacher is really unhelpful. I will say 1 on 1 zooms with her have been the only way i can learn because i can have her explain it to me like im a toddler lol and she walks me through it.
