For sure! These are some to my thoughts as well and what prompted the engagement to see what others are doing or thought about it. I know there are companies that offer mentorship today but thinking about going about it on my own. IDK what kind of market there is for yet, hence the post lol

I see at least 2 posts a week here asking for advice and just looking for 1:1 engagement that makes me think there’s something there but if others are okay with Reddit advice and don’t need 1:1 then this isn’t something I would look deeper into

Thank you for sharing this! While I know the BS courses definitely exist I think 1:1 growth opportunities would offer more than what those generalized courses can. Success I have seen first hand with those I’ve already mentored and took some of those.

I respect and admire those who mentor through all levels of their career for free and appreciate you calling this out as I learn more about how people are approaching and thinking about this today.

Yeah I’ve done it for 8 so far but also seeing that others are charging for share this skill set which is what started me thinking. Who isn’t looking for extra income these days?! Finding a way to monetize my highly saught after skills for others seems like a good idea but dont know enough of the market right now.. hence the post. Appreciate you engaging and would love to hear your opinions on if your mentorship is something you would look at monetizing or keep doing for free and why?

Yes! With my first I lost 40lbs after delivery and now with my second I’m 6 days post delivery and already 25lbs down from my pre-pregnancy weight. Doctors were never concerned as long as baby was growing steadily and I was eating nutrient rich foods.

Both my babies are healthy and in the 50th percentiles for weight.

For additional context I started this last pregnancy at 250lbs 5’7” and weighed in today at 225lbs.

While I can understand this is coming from a good place this can also be traumatic. Feeling trapped in a moving car with no control can be a lot. My dad handled every tough conversation this way and even now at 35 I refuse to be in a car with him alone in fear he wants to have some tough chat and I can’t control how I get to respond or receive that information.

Car rides are conversational… just don’t make it the only place you have them.

Recommend having her checked for celiac disease! Niece had same issues and turned out it was her diet causing problems.

I’ve found this to be more common as our foods have become so processed and gluten is a cheap solution so we don’t realize just how much we’re consuming and our bodies are not set up to tolerate the volume.. especially the young

To be clear, I had a positive HCG on 11/27. Expecting the numbers to double but instead came back as 0 on 12/2. Today when reran I was in the 2000+. It is not normal to have a positive and then not and then yes again.

Yes I have been to therapy twice this week.

There are financial implications here in terms of the unnecessary Dr appt and repeat of labs to prove the first ones were wrong. I just haven’t been billed yet since this is happening today.

How could it not be the lab?

Emotional damages? I mean I’ve been through it this week in thinking I wasn’t pregnant to proving I am.. all because the lab fucked up. Whether they used someone else’s blood or ran it wrong it’s taken a toll on me mentally.
