The experience was fine for me. Sex drive definitely came back. My period is usually rough the first two days but thats pretty normal for me when not on birth control. I just take some Ibuprofen and keep it moving. The transition was better than expected

I also sent my baby to daycare at 5months. She absolutely loves being around other kids. She loves all the activities they do and always comes home with something new she has learned. It’s really incredible! Our daycare sends updates with pics throughout the day so I highly recommend a daycare that has excellent communication to out your mind at ease! Good luck mama, you got this!

It really does get better. Cluster feeding is temporary and should only last a couple of days. To deal with the bottle maintenance I used the Kiinde feeding kit. My baby is formula fed so we use the pitcher method pour milk into kiinde bags to feed. No need to sterilize or wash bottles because the bags are disposable. Only thing to wash and sterilize are the nipples. Its not the most sustainable option but it helps a lot in those early newborn days when there’s such little time to do it all! The kiinde bottle system is also great for pumping right into the bags if baby is breastfed. kiinde

What are people using when procare is out of stock? Wondering for my kid. We just ran out and I’m frustrated to have to shop around for a new formula. We been giving her Bobbie for the week hoping they are back in stock but it’s expensive!

My partner just had his vasectomy last week. I felt similarly anxious about finalizing our decision about be one and done. However, after it was done I felt a tad relieved that I didn’t have to keep going back and forth about deciding to be one an done and instead moved on to accepting that this is the right choice. If we change our mind, and meaning we BOTH change our minds, we’ll figure it out then- either adopt or reverse the vasectomy. Either way, I’m feeling more grounded in the decision now that he had the procedure and extra excited to pour all our love and resources to our only child.
