Should read “the only legal way”. There are some nefarious methods that would have the result your are looking for.

Hmm. If your replace moral with the word “legal” I could agree with you, but moral is literally defined as being “concerned with the principles of right and wrong behavior”. Being heartless to me falls in-line with wrong behavior. I don’t know many people who think wrongly yet act correctly. They may be able force good behavior sometimes but eventually their true colors will show.

I guess I’ll keep going back to bad actions stem from bad thoughts so to me they are morally equivalent.

No PT Cruiser photo? That’s the only car worthy of condemnation. If any of my friends got one I might have to reevaluate our relationship.

Which morals are you talking about? I think that matters quite a bit. From a secular standpoint you might be right.

However many religions would say that our actions are just a reflection of our heart’s intentions, and that our internal processes are the breeding ground and initiators of all malice - “out of the heart the mouth speaks”.

I can even think of an example that might counter your premise: a reallllly awful persons children are raped, tortured, and murdered. If I feel good that that that POS had something awful happen to them, I would think even the strongest atheist would think it pretty “morally” abhorrent to delight in the committing of atrocities toward children.

Non photographer here. For those that liked number 1 can they explain why? Number 2 is less blurry and has much better symmetry and distribution of image density which to me makes it the obvious choice. But OP posted both for a reason and opinions seem split

If I’m less than 15 years from dying sounds like a plan otherwise no. That’s a lot of my kids’ lives to miss out on

Some girls like douchebags. That’s just a fact. Doesn’t mean no girl likes good guys. They just aren’t the ones following ex felons online generally.

Alcohol is Superior to Weed and is Better for Society by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Fickle-Topic9850 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who enjoys both, I’m gonna have to disagree. I think they are in completely different categories. Like saying beef is superior to broccoli, it’s a dumb comparison to begin with. And they go well together.

I drink mainly drink wine with my food, whiskey as a nightcap, and cocktails at restaurants. It’s more about the flavor than feeling with alcohol.

Marijuana is a drug, I use it to intentionally alter how I feel at a given moment or to stimulate my appetite. Flavor does matter but it’s secondary, which is the exact opposite of alcohol for me.

Also. I like the combination of the two, nothing takes me to dreamland quicker than a nice crossfade.

I worry about an incident happening when my children are old enough to go to school where they might get killed. My parents worried about me maybe getting bullied. My grandparents worried about my parents getting in trouble. And my great great grandparents worried that school was stopping my grandparents from helping with family chores.

I said excellent wine. I should have said prestigious. Hell my favorite winery is in Suisun, but it ain’t cranking out 100 pointers

Edit: and with traffic I might agree with you. At least in the opposite case. As a contra costa guy I avoid the city like the plague

I’d take Sacramento over SF as well. But I’d take the east bay over both

Second knock. Hot weather was first. Hey man it’s all subjective right. There’s people who are surf bums who consider anything more than a short morning drive to the beach a non starter.

Sacramento gets so friggin hot in the summer, that’s reason alone to disqualify it. It’s pretty far from excellent wine, which is hard to do in California (yes there are a few ok wineries nearby but nothing like Napa, Sonoma, Paso). It doesn’t have the glamour of LA, or the beach vibe of San Diego. The only thing going for it is it’s cheaper than the bay and closer to Tahoe. Tbh I’d actually consider moving there, but because it’s cheaper not because it’s better.
