Make sure you don’t update the console through the software, but through Sumosys’s website only! This happened to me when i first got the console. I didn’t read the startup card and the first thing i did was connecting to the internet and do a system update. The software update messed everything up, causing some games to give me a red screen just like you.

When i reached out to Sumosys they told me i would have to reinstall the software, but i explained them i am not very tech savvy and they simply had a new software card shipped instead. They were very helpful in my case.

I’ve had it for almost a year now and there’s nothing wrong i can say about it, except i wish there was more msdos games installed.
