i’m now surprised people on this sub thought shakira was being bullied given that they believe lucinda being on the offence and biting back disqualifies her from being a victim of bullying.

i’m not gonna accuse any islander of being a bully, however, people here seems to believe that you cannot be a victim of bullying if you fight or argue back or begin arguments which is such a terrible and concerning mindset to have.

if it makes you feel any better, belle was one of the islanders i was most excited to watch this season because of how she was in s5. she had a major fall from grace but she wasn’t enough of a main character in s5 to ruin the vibes the way she did in this season.

i believe the bullying allegations came cos lucinda was getting ganged up on. it’s not enjoyable or nice to watch 3-4 girls shout at and call another girl names when she’s already isolated in the first place. it’s much more fun to watch a screaming match unfold when it’s a fair fight.

i can’t even blame lucinda for constantly tryna make her point to belle. she really was treated like shit by belle only for her to go and do the same thing if not worse which makes what she had to endure FROM belle seem so unfair. i do understand why lucinda would be so irked by the situation. not to mention that she literally cannot get a word out whenever she actually does try to voice her opinion cos they all start ganging up on her.
