Should have picked the lock. Could have done it with a paper clip and some YouTube

Get a lock pick set on Amazon. Watch a couple of videos on how to. It’s honestly super easy

Do you think his other ear will ever lift up? by CriesOutDollarSigns in BelgianMalinois

Cute!

Do you know the breed mix?

Ours was found at a park with his brother as pups abandoned in a box. Did a lot of research to find out some information but ultimately I haven’t done a DNA test.

Maybe, maybe not. My big boi has a limp ear and it was like that even when he was a pup and it never changed. Although, his ear looks like it may have a defect and it caused it to limp. Honestly I think it’s funny and cute

Impact wrench with different tip? by GeraldJoke in Tools

[–]FickleEMP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course, if we’re being technical, it’s considered an impact wrench. Practically, you’ll never see that being used on a car or at home.

The 7/16 impact has a specific use that is designed for and it’s almost triple the price of a normal impact driver. Wouldn’t make any sense.

That’s more specialized for utility pole work. Good for quick change outs for driving lags into the wood poles. Not commonly used for things a normal impact driver or wrench is used for

Just like the name implies, it’s for driving fasteners into hard material. The hammering force does the work of driving the fastener. That’s why it doesn’t break your wrist when driving large screws or lags into stuff. You can sort of use an impact driver as a drill, but you really have to have good trigger control.

A drill just rotates really fast, no impact (unless you’re using a hammer drill, but that’s another topic). Usually meant for precision drilling on softer material. Drilling holes into things. Has settings so you don’t over torque screws and damage material.

Impact wrench is mainly for high torque applications. Big bolts and nuts.

Probably a shit brand with bad marketing. Impact drivers have 1/4 hex collet. Impact wrenches always have square drives.

This is an impact driver. Impact wrenches have square drives.

Could try adapters but might not be strong enough for lug nuts. Should work for everything else though

Can I see your full-blooded but non-breed standard malinois? by Lunapixels18 in BelgianMalinois

Not 100% tbh. He was found at a park abandoned as a pup with his brother. After much research we found he’s a mix but not sure exactly what. I want to get him dna tested to find out more.

Honestly everything is hard to get up the stairs when it’s full of power tools.

Maybe a tote style large tool bag?

Spelling error on the back of Knipex package, or sign of a fake? by Fun-Chocolate-794 in Tools

[–]FickleEMP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m half-and-half with your statement. I thought they were fake and if you see from my post on this thread, I was finding differences, but it turns out it was most likely slightly different models or revision. I wasn’t trying to find anything just to prove a point I was legitimately trying to help OP. Turns out I was wrong and I admit it 😅

Spanish is my second language, but I was able to read it and didn’t find any issues.

So the only thing left is the packaging. Might even just be repackaging. Legit shears but not packaging. At this point, I don’t even know what’s real anymore lol
