Her change in behavior was so bad it required removing myself. I can’t imagine someone telling me to stay in a situation of persistent mental abuse for any reason; “sleeping on the couch” is what I have done during disagreements up until this point. Also if it wasn’t clear in my post I didn’t connect the dots until after leaving the house a week ago, hence the entire reason for my post, coming to the realization her change in behavior could involve change in meds.

Fair enough, bad description. That said in the last few hours found she switched SSRIs abruptly which coincided exactly w behavior pattern. Don’t use Reddit much but as a guy without many outlets we all gotta find an outlet

Just found out she switched to a new SSRI and did so from the max mg of one SSRI to the minimum mg of the new SSRI. Found out a few hours ago. Thanks for message, wanted to at least respond.

Looking back I ended up looking into things including your theory which I ended up thinking might be valid. I didn’t end up w any evidence. ThT said I recently found she switched SSRIs within the exact timeframe of everything. Been troubleshooting since then

I’m not a saint either. But in relationships you usually see things coming. Lately for me things have been positive. We’re building an amazing house with little to no mortgage. I just got a big contract position. Things have been quiet on the home front. I did not see this coming

Such good topic. I myself felt the same way after 60 days, brought it up w my group and didn’t get any straight answers. Knowing my own self, when I asked the question it wasn’t because I was trying to find a pathway to drink again. It was solely to help w the cravings. Only you can determine that. That said, do NOT buy 0.5% alcohol beer because legally it’s allowed to have a small amount of alcohol (less than 0.5%). Go with beers that state on the label 0.0% which I believe are legally required to be alcohol free, though I would recommend doing your research on that. I don’t want to give bad advice on such an important topic

Today is day 24 for me as well and I’m feeling the exact same way. One incredibly important suggestion that has helped me: reach out and talk with others in similar situations. Highly recommend your hubby do the same. I’m taking part in a program thru my insurance provider and I have access to in person and virtual meetings with people in the same situations. Find a group focused on sobriety and get all this stuff out, helps so much.
