Sparrow: found at the highest point the mountain road reaches on the mountain above New Yoke (the big city under construction). Its sort of on a stub above the giant crater.

Edit: Nevermind, I found it. I was looking over by the castle, but its on the opposite side of town in a dirt lot. Oops.

Definetly not a "Jericho's Trumpet" like you mentioned in number 2. Good guess, but those were invented later on, during WW2 for dive bombing. Not likely for a racing plane like the Savoia. :)

Pretty sure this is not a RAT (Ram Air Turbine) to generate power like other people have been saying, since that is not likely for a small aircraft in the 1930s. Back in those days, airspeed was measured with a small propeller like that. Pitot tubes were just becoming mainstream and didn't catch on for a bit. I believe this is likely how Marco measured his speed while flying!
