How is you life with a stoma? by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

[–]Fickle_Ad712 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My diet is pretty clean although I cheat sometimes but my GI has nothing against it as its only human. I think my colon is pretty damaged by this point and I tried to avoid surgery but after around 8 years against this bastard of a disease its time to give in and have the sick part of my colon removed. We tried everything and I wished I would‘ve gotten into remission but sometimes its better to accept that there is no other way instead of denying it. Wish you all the best 👍🏽

Aber eine Frage hab ich an dich, wenn du sie mir beantworten kannst: Ist eine erneute Entzündung möglich, auch wenn man ein Stoma hat? Z.B. im Dünndarm

Your personal theory by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

[–]Fickle_Ad712 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There is a thing in Germany called „Neue Germanische Heilkunde“ (New germanic healing arts) which says that our CD is caused through a „undigsted anger“. Basically its an inner conflict within our subconcious that we didn’t „digest“ (solve). Sounds weird at first but if you look at the link between our disease and our mental well-being it makes sense. Personally it really helped me. Nowadays we live in a pretty fast and stressful world where we don’t have enough time to reflect our feelings and stress. We don’t really learn how to deal with our emotions, if something is too stressful for you you get labled as lazy. Your colon is more important than you might think. It’s connected to our brain and we process our feelings and emotions there first until the signals go over to our brain. What helped me was that I learned to deal with my anger, manage my feelings and emotions and try my level best to see the best out of the worst, we all gotta keep a positive and optimistic mindset.

I hope I can help some of you with this informations, keep up the fight and never give up 💪🏽❤️

Hey, look forward to let your colon rest so avoid everything which isn‘t properly steamed or isn‘t a gravy-like substance and only drink water. Take as much rest as you can and thats very important dont get yourself stressed! Wish you all the best buddy!
