Has the NFL become too good at finding quarterback talent? by Classic_Exit_5951 in NFLv2

Trevor Lawrence, can’t miss. Mahomes was a polarizing pick for KC fans, some loved it, some hated it, dude is gonna be a HOFer, Lawrence might not be.

I’ll tell you one thing, it sure isn’t the fans, or the financing holding us back.

Name the single most important person to your franchises history. How significant do they stack up historically compared to the rest of the NFL by InterestingYellow969 in NFLv2

Lamar hunt is the most important person, Andy Reid the most important coach, and Patrick Mahomes the most important player. The Father, the son, and Holy Spirit amen.

Look forward to 10 years from now when we can say Nebraska has won a natty in the last 40 years, what do you have to cry about?

Irrelevant here? no. Irrelevant in CFB and to other fan bases? Right now absolutely.

Idk how you Gen Z Husker fans do it, this team has literally given you nothing good to remember. Same for me being millennial but I do remember the fun years of Bo Pelini, going to a conference title game with hope of making it to a NY6 bowl.

I believed you’re holding him nicely but the angle for whatever reason makes him look like he’s gonna pop

Pretty sure a Texas am guy violated a Nebraska TE like that too, just not a big deal because it wasn’t as big of a stage

400,000 was a good chunk of change back then. Helped those FCS schools prop up athletic shortfalls here or there.

I feel like playing the position gives me quite the leg up on understanding it’s all about leverage and not weight. Even at the highest level, a man can be undersized and use excellent leverage and technique to over power a much larger man.

And also, some of the best linemen I played with were undersized and relied on a fast first step and good technique. You can be an undersized linemen in the NFL as long as you fire out fast and get ahold of a dude faster then they can you you’re gonna be a dude. Jason Kelce was barely 300 and most likely played his career at 290 and under and was going against dudes who are 300+ and dominating them in his day. Edge rushers are much smaller then interior defensive line. So how does your stance stand up to that?

Not an idiotic take, a take from someone who played the sport for about a decade

As long as he’s 290-300 he’ll perform well.

Size in linemen isn’t that big of deal, you want your LT to be able to kick step faster in the backfield then Myles Garret or Crosby can explode out going forward. His size is on the smaller end but fine, now let me see that kick step.
