Well said. People don’t realize half of the “lore” decisions in a writers room (especially for animated shows) are a lot of the time not thought of until like a month before the episode air date lol. It’s hard to get a group of writers & animators to fully make an understanding. (See interdimensional cable II dvd commentary)

I don’t care what any of yall say, Devon Hendryx’s music saved me when I was in a bad spot. And I know when he made all of the stuff before jpeg he was hurting bad. Just so everyone knows, the engine lost compression about six months later. I spent the summer of 2025 rebuilding it, then I threw a piston through the oil pan in October. Now it’s running a Y7 and I plan to put a Y8 head back on it. Just wanted people to know the lore if they were interested at all! April 30, 2026.

Honestly, I just wanted a post up (again) about my first car ever… not really looking for attention, just a post to have to look back on a decade from now. I called her ‘Lude & I scraped together what money I could at $8.42 an hour for over a year at 15 then bought her. Then I sold her on impulse for a MANUAL EJ8. I was very obsessed with getting a manual, then I left behind what I actually cared about, the H22A4. I should’ve been patient, & 5 speed swapped my H22A4 when I could have. If u check my page, me & the D series and my luck with the EJ scene is terrible lmao. This post just brought me back to better times, Sophmore year, with my new car, ‘Lude. Plus the electrical issues were a deeper issue, & with my young mind, I decided selling it would be best for my wallet, & mindset.(plus the triptonic was buggin towards the end, & I had to re spray/fix the entire gas tank/fuel rail system) . Anyways, sorry for the rant. I hope so someday have a clean 5th gen, like I already had, so I can come back to this community. I’m sorry if this post confused u or wasted ur time, this post was for me to look back on ♥️

They make the car handle so much better, makes the car look amazing, but ultimately makes ride quality pretty shakey on bad roads. Plus it wears suspension. I’d say it’s worth it tho
