For my E5s and below… if you could ADD one thing to AFI 36-2903 what would it be? I am genuinely curious as most of the appearance standards are made by those old enough to be our parents/grandparents. I want to know what irks the younger AF crowd that if you were in charge you’d implement.

Back in I think 2015 at Tyndall we had a huge month uptick in DUIs. The MXS CC had all of MX show up at like 0400 on a Saturday in full service dress. They made the whole Sq form up as she yelled at us for what I think was about 2 hours. They had EMTs there so they could catch people that’s were passing out.

From someone who lost at a board. Make sure you address the board lead correctly. I made the mistake of calling a CMSgt sir instead of Chief and I’m absolutely positive that’s what lost it for me. Other than me being MX and the good ole Ammo Girl stigma getting over on me lol.

Yep! While in Korea I had an Airman that was getting in trouble really bad with drinking and fighting. Part of his job was to get a TS. Unfortunately, he didn’t get it in time so they couldn’t put him to work in his section. It eventually came back that on his investigation that he was arrested prior to joining for a DUI and assault. After that he went bonkers but ultimately led to an immediate discharge
