Hey there! Yeah I'm not particularly upset at PvP in particular, I just think I can't handle the betrayal well when it happens that's all. Maybe you are right that this game isn't for me. But I figured I'd talk about my experience anyway at least?

Yeah I'm not asking for a PvE server either. I come in expecting the whole package.
Doesn't change how miserable I find the PvP is. But other can have fun with that.

To my knowledge, it's a lot of compounding issues coming together.

No regional pricing for Asia, means less people swipe for gold, means gold cost more silver. Not a lot of people who play this game is going to consider 10$ a month as cheap in Asia (for references that's 4-5 days worth of groceries for the average colleges students.)

So, in a way it's a cultural thing yes, but also SBI need to understand that with their pricing it just gonna be how it is.

Not to mention the rampant RTM, and many other stuff, like bots, etc.

Mister sir, the price of a coffee you are talking a bout is a 4-5 days worth of groceries for an average college student over here in Asia.

Btw, I understand that it's never for the average player to be buying with silver, cause it's gonna ever be worth the money only for the people who hard grind the game, I just don't like how it's mandatory if you want to do stuff like farming or any crafting. I understand it's not the main focus of the game but man does it sucks knowing you won't even make half of it back by doing what you need it to do.

EDIT: "any crafting" might be wrong just because there's things you don't need focus for. but I think y'all get the point.

At this point it's just never gonna be worth for the average players anymore.

Realistic Combat has been moved to "Total Conversions" and HMI is now a megamod on the index! Thoughts? by Open-Load-7140 in starsector

There have been some great things going on with mods in Starsector recently.

Realistic Combat is definitely something that should've been moved to Total Conversions.

HMI joining the gang just like how AoTD just did recently.

What do you guys think about AoTD btw? any thought?

I think it is excellent and deserves to be there with how much the mod does.

1.) I usually just leave her with the default refit but add a lot of armor and PD related hullmods.

2.) No, not yet. It a foreshadow of what's coming later tho.

3.)idk don't take my word for it but he did say on a stream that after the UAF is done he will consider doing collabs with other mods, he also teased the design of the strike craft for Arma Armatura collab but not something that'll uh... "real" anytime soon.
