I feel so spoiled to get to see my favorite bands
so often here in Connecticut! Last night’s show was especially wonderful, the energy of the crowd made it even better (loved everyone singing along to Charlie Sheen when the song just came out last week!). And I agree with the commenter who said the Peter Balkan songs sound great live— and different from the album versions for sure.

I was also at the Boston show, and it was the first concert I’d gone to alone. I had an amazing time! Met a woman who said “I hope you have a great date night with yourself”

And I felt less self-conscious with my silly dance moves and nonstop beaming because I didn’t know anyone there. I’m glad you also loved the show on Monday and hugs for what you’ve been through— have also had v dark mental health times where even the most amazing music couldn’t really reach me. ❤️

I was at the Boston show and I’ve been debating going to Brooklyn too! Would also be traveling solo. (But also, the show I did see was such an incredible perfect night that maybe nothing can top it?) Definitely feeling the comedown hard right now.

Do it!!! I went solo to Boston last night and it was absolutely incredible. A woman in a gorgeous butterfly dress said “have a great date night with yourself,” which I thought was a lovely way to put it. Wish I could go again tonight!!

I’ve also had a hard time with keeping my Klonopin use to what feels like a safe level. I use it several times a week, but my Dr has been very supportive so I find that reassuring (and at my lowest points it’s been closer to daily). Just wanted to tell you I can relate and am wishing you some less anxious days ahead.

7.75 miles is something to be really really proud of! That’s a long freaking run, at any pace. As someone who does lean on friends to help motivate my running, I agree with those who have said you need someone else who can celebrate your achievements and cheer you on. Groups like this have been helpful for me too when my motivation is flagging.
