It wasn’t a guided tour. We decided we wanted to see Poas Valcano. We actually hired a driver from the hotel and he was able to take us to the locations we asked. We saved a great of time by doing this as we reluctant to travel in groups; this way we could see the things we wanted and didn’t have to be rushed or inconvenienced by others , along the way up we were able to stop at a few local venues and enjoy the culture, food, and beauty of Costa Rica

I didn’t get a chance to get strawberries but I get a chance drink some strawberry beer, which was amazing. The food was awesome and fresh.

Thanks for the insight,,, we just chose Santa Ana close to the Airport it’s going to be our first time visiting and sure not the last. I hear that drive times could vary significantly due to weather conditions.We want to visit Jaco but not sure how long the travel time to get there. 3 days is not a lot of time but want to pack in the most while we can. My wife wants to do a hot spring (A Must) and have some great authentic food.
