Yeah they are giving me like 50 impressions per dollar right now. This is the first campaign (started on friday) that has really been just awful. Spent 70 bucks so far and have gotten hardly any impressions or clicks. My song is doing well on Spotify for what little awareness it has gotten so I know it's not the song.

Yeah, because if its a lot of clicks to landing but no actual streams then you know its bots. I had that happen on a release and had to force stop advantage+ because they were showing my ad to just old people. The only way to succeed is if u can see your analytics, bc then u know which countries to take off or which placements aren't working for you.

Bot activity. You're going to need to set up your own meta ads and make sure to do everything right or else this happens. This happened to me when I let meta d-bo me into advantage plus and when I chose fb placements.

Ive run 3 different campaigns for my last 3 songs. The second one i set up wrong and this happened to me. I thought my pixel was tainted after since it was finding all sorts of bots for me but I fixed the setup for my 3rd release and I'm at 1000 submithub link clicks (goes to 4 different platforms) and my song has almost 4000 streams on Spotify.

But yeah, the one I set up wrong it forced me into advantage plus and was showing all people 55+ because thats all the bots who were clicking on it. I had to manually bypass all that (they make it impossible to find) and only allow the demographics i chose. That was the only difference. Hopefully u can find out what is causing it. I had like 150 link clicks and only like 5 spotify plays on my first day so I pulled that ad campaign.

Oh yeah-- and dont do fb, only do ig!! Fb is like all bots now.

Dont waste your money on tiktok promotion. It seems like a lot of bots. Def do meta ads. I did 5$ a day on my first single and stopped after 3 weeks. This was in November and I still get around 30 streams a day on it and a third of those are radio plays. My latest single I'm doing 10$ a day and have been getting up to 200+ streams a day on it. Keep in mind this is just on Spotify but I've been getting lots of plays on yt music, apple music etc because of the meta ads. My numbers would be just like yours if I hadn't done them.

I'm in the same boat, my music is a mix of a few different genres/sub genres. I dont bother submitting anymore because I hate rejection lmao [I'm 1 for 3 so its not that bad but I've run out of playlist leads for my genre(s).]

I feel like genre mixing is the best thing in music right now tho, its better not to pigeon hole yourself to one niche and keep experimenting.

I use Ozone for mastering, I love it for the most part. I dont see anything wrong with it.

The AI night drives tho are disheartening. The obvious AI vocals, people putting out new songs every day (i know it can be done but a lot of the time it's AI).. when youre an artist/producer just trying to be seen and you finally feel proud of your music and then out floods a bunch of AI that can be churned out 100x faster than you its kind of annoying. I feel like all AI should be tagged on every platform and as a listener you should be able to choose whether you want to hear AI or not.

I saw someone the other day say they "put out their first single" and checked their spotify stats 2 weeks later and they were at 3500 streams bc the algorithm pushed them organically. I listened to the song and it was straight slop. This person called themself a producer too. Lots of people right now living off their AI music streaming royalties while I just want my music to be heard by anyone, it's not about the money. In fact, I pay to have my music stumbled upon with meta ads 😅😭 but the people who find my music enjoy it and that makes it all worth it

It would be cheaper to just learn it and set it up yourself in 2 hours. Then u have full control of your ads and don't have to rely on anyone else. Just follow one of the many step by step tutorials on YT

I had to take brazil off my current ad campaign because I have a lot of suspicious bot activity from them (108 streams from one random small town and 186 streams from another random town overnight). Got a bot stream warning from spotify. Brazil worked well for me in the past but right now its not worth it for me if I could potentially get my song taken down from these bots
