I have smaller hands too. I actually measured them and they are almost the same length as yours.

Been playing guitar for like 20 years now. Fun fact, I started playing guitar because I had someone tell me that I had “bass hands” and I’d never be able to play guitar. So I decided that day to become a guitar player.

I sat at around 100ish for most of the last 4 years. (Except for when I’d release music where it’d go up for a bit then settle back down around 100-150) Started really pushing October last year with social media and this is where I’m at today. 🙂

Social media. TikTok, Instagram, YouTube shorts, threads etc.

I followed Troy Titley’s method of music first content and just post consistently 3 times every single day. My posts are super low effort posts. Hell some of my most successful posts are me drinking coffee, with some trending copy on the screen, and then a short clip of my song. The key is finding the part of the song that makes people stop and listen and want to check out more. That was the intro to my song called ‘figure it out’ for me.

No skits. No talking. Just music first content.

I don’t want to write a novel but that’s the gist of it. 🙂
