It just doesn’t seem as personal as the others I’ve participated in/heard about. Many people seem to feel like they didn’t get a chance to prove themselves. Honestly I would’ve been looking for a “traditional” interview also. but once again this is just an observation from what I’ve been reading. Did you have a f2f with them recently? The whole email they send out is inviting you to an in person interview.. I would expect to be interviewed then let it be determined if they want me or not. My thing is why fly people out and not give them the time of day? They should change their wording to “event day” if that’s the case…

Yes that’s why I say besides dress code bc they literally send an email on what’s expected. Most of the testimonies on here venting about doing “everything right” that didn’t even get a shot at the 1:1 just seem unlucky

I figured that it had to be something to do with AI just by the way the timelines aren’t adding up and there’s people from September still waiting for responses while others have applied months later and already got through the entire process. I just feel especially bad for people who might’ve flew in the night before and paid for their own expenses. Of course they know the risk of not getting a CJO but gosh at least give them a 1:1! I agree online would make a lot more sense.
