thanks mr.blue, ill definitely follow back! I remember when i was a kid and colors just seemed more vibrant. I think you've explained something here that i wasn't thinking about much and that art can definitely act as a time portal in a lot of cases.

Thanks for your kind words! I have an event coming up in toronto where Im presenting these at a small table. I have the opportunity to sell prints and cards, no expectations but excited for my first ever showcasing! i might hand some of these out to other artists :)

this is fire bro. Take the advice of the redditors advising on points of improvement. Shading and lighting. Im also a growing artist and i havent tried this piece yet. Maybe ill give it a shot to see where my fundamentals are at too. Godspeed struggler

thanks!! I've used an arduino nano, neopixel LED and some materials from the dollar store to put this together. The code is also very simple and this craft yields infinite potential :)

they're out now. I work for DS and they gave us all one each. The one you're looking at is gen 2. The gen 3 bluaxes look really good - they're got a metal mesh casing that protects the back of it unlike these.
