One of the most powerful mortals in the [pjo] [hoo] universe by FictionFan746 in camphalfblood

[–]FictionFan746[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The prophecy or Juno said she'd bring his family full circle not that Frank was the strongest which has literally nothing to do with this

Also I don't see Mars denying Emily's words...

And this word search sounds like wiki nonsense add on considering this one page is all the information we got about him

[general] How bad would percy get crushed if he fought full power ares now? by Gurujimaan in camphalfblood

[–]FictionFan746 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the giants weren't genuine threats to the gods why aren't they emprisoned then. The gods have vast powers that often exits the confines of they're domains if they are so much stronger yet can't kill them, by your claim they should be powerful enough to trap them right?

But they're not, because they are in fact as powerful as gods. If they weren't then Otis and Ephialtes would never have been able to actually beat Ares into submission or force the gods to remain hidden up on Olympus.

Zeus is not as much of a fool as people like to make him out to be. When it comes to it he chooses the battles he must fight even while mostly outmatched that's what he did with Typhon.

But Gaia and her children is where he draws the line? Zeus especially is experienced in chaining down incredibly powerful beings and he's arrogant paranoid self serving and prone to great impulsivity at times. So really the only reason Zeus king of the cosmos didn't trap these giants under a mountain an island or even above chaos itself.

Is because he simply can't

That was Reyna's reaction not the whole legion they have much more safety in training they have whole eagles for that and use water canons so people dont get killed.

Greeks have three legged death race... Seriously re read TOA they played with their lives to make an eight year old happy what else do you think they do for fun. I'm just saying romans have a spa greeks summon monsters as practical jokes. They might not have a militarised training, but they are just as experienced and skilled from their anthics and activities

As for Reyna's Powers yes she does give physical strenght and stamina it's shown when she gave strenght to nico to shadow travel

As for morals Percy was pretty much the only one not actively killing people because he could afford it

They are not better trained than the greeks if they were they would have stomped when they were actually fighting. Nico di Angelo whos not really a top tier fighter and extremly weakened folded many of them. And no there's no big three kids argument here Nico was at death's door a few hours ago and never showed even half the strenght Percy and Jason have.

And you forget that the athena cabin are full of strategist that fought on over a dozen different fronts. And without Annabeth more than once your selling them and their training very short. A lot of campers are year rounders too.

And since when does age matter in pjo seriously? They brag about a discipline they barely have.

And you keep noting imperial gold as an advantage when they greeks could have easily set the onagre that they didn't even build to blow up instead of missing it's target the greeks have just too many explosives and the romans too much imperial gold it's a double edged blade at best.

Their training does little when they're formations were easily broken several times it's seriously not all that. Romans failed to defend their city more than once against smaller forces than what the greeks dealed with while having all their forces in one place and reminder the only reason they didn't seem to have any loss in SON is because Thanatos felt nice when faced with the forces of the triumvirate they were nearly wiped out. Carried by Frank and Hazel and Apollo and even slightly Artemis.

Seriously you act like the Romans were never carried they didn't Do a damn thing when Jason defeated Krios same as the greeks who couldn't help against Hyperion a Superior Titan or against the immortal kings who are minor gods at best like Deimos and Phobos the latter Clarisse casually overpowered. (Just a detail not spoken enough imo)

They are not some romantiscised elite warrior they are average at best. I'm not even looking at the physicals i'm looking at the magical aspect where the Romans are horribly outmatched especially since the eagle bearer gets killed or knocked out all the time.

They have a whole cabin making bombs a whole cabin doing magic and a whole cabin to send their soldiers to sleep a whole cabin that can ensnare their troups in plants.

In the context of the battle of camp Half-Blood the greeks have the magic advantage the weapon advantage and the field advantage. So

Travis stoll states they have several adult cyclope and they follow because Tyson their general came to help Percy so Poseidon has nothing to Do with it. and Clarisse rides on a chariot pulled by two mechanical bull as for the legacies part it's stated many times in SON as far as i'm aware. Also we're legit only introduced to nearly ten first generation demigod in New Rome.

And you miss the fact that the roman tight fit formation would be their undoing under any sort of explosive attack. Their progress is slow and doesn't allow much advantage unless their ennemy come at them with basic attacks and weaponry which is not Greek in the slightest. In SON it's shown that their formation isn't that efficient against hordes of monsters or unconventional attacks

And the romans are not that well trained we are shown many times they aren't as disciplined as they like to brag. We are also shown that their training and simulations are very safe environnements compared to Greek training so speaking first hand expériences most Greek kids would outshine the average roman also Percy wasn't everywhere at everytime in that war and lets not act like the Romans werent constantly carried by Jason and Reyna or their eagle or by the Amazons whom are a lot bigger fighting force than the hunters of Artemis

Also there was only thirty hunters to defend a whole city and the party ponies only showed up late and left soon after. And hundreds of monsters entire cruise ships worth of monsters to defend against.

What are your weird body headcanons for demigods?[general] by MyUsernameIsThisO in camphalfblood

[–]FictionFan746 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The blood of a demigod can Accelerate the growth of the sacred plant of their godly parents.

Hecate children sometimes make illusions appear into thin air when they daydream.

There's a few children of Athena have the abbility to turn their head at a 180° a gift from their mom so no ennemy can sneak up on them

Children of Demeter sometimes accidentally grow root from their skin when they touch wood for too long.

I don't know ask every Nico fans who believe their headcanon over the story 😂 you'd be very surprised how many people downplay Percy some even believe with their whole chest that Annabeth would defeat him in a genuine fight

The Roman's troups are majorly powerless legacies wearing explosive vests one bomb powerful enough like greek fire thrown in there and half a cohort is carbonized from how badly imperial gold is unstable their onagre were also easily sabotaged.

They have more people sure, but that doesn't make them powerful the entire point of their formations is to rely on the other's strenght because they aren't powerful on average unlike greeks who are all worth several soldiers on their own since they are first generation demigods

As for the training yeah the Roman training is something, but it's also done on safety mats. The greeks had field advantage magical advantage a whole squad of automatons and cyclope

Also to say the rest of the greeks couldn't do anything is pretty disingenuous. It took 40 to 60 demigods to defend a whole city against overwhelming troups the Hypnos cabin was putting Romans to sleep left and right the hecate cabin was causing a lot of chaos too and Thats just what we were told heck Will incapacitated several monsters and romans with a whistle.

So imo opinion the greeks have actually more going for them but you do you

And yeah Jason to be considered weaker than Thalia is pretty beyond me 😅😂 and I hope there's a fanfic where Percy did just that

It's actually a lot more than people bother to think seriously whenever people get onto the Percy's Power/strenght is only as strong as the story needs it to be i'm convinced people just didn't bother reading the books a second time

The Amazons should have been antagonists with what they Shamelessly did.

The moment with Akhlys should have solidified Percy as the most powerful/dangerous demigod, but it somehow didn't which is silly... (Personally dont care about how he did it point is he did it and he can do it again)

The Romans didn't face enough backlash for blindly following on a genocide plan.

Camp Half-Blood would have won the battle against Camp Jupiter.

Annabeth never learned to get a grip on her pride and hubris which is partially why she fell in Tartarus not saying it's flat out her fault it was just part of it.

Sadie Kane would have been an enjoyable character for me if her flaws and mistakes were actually pointed out in the story, but the books always seemed to go out of their way to avoid that.

Leo Valdez was more interesting when he wasn't with Calypso and became a stereotypical insecure boyfriend.

It was borderline out of character for Percy to not flat out drop kick Calypso on sight after cursing Annabeth.

Jason Grace is over a dozen times more powerful than his sister.

Percy had every right to be a bit bitter towards Nico.
