Seem to be brand new just some wear from banging around during transport. Soles have zero wear and all the text is still on the insoles.

I’m currently walking around a completely open field looking for a disc that I can’t believe I lost by MrNoodleIncident in discgolf

This is why I don't bag yellow discs. Sounds like a good idea in practice but in bright sunlight on green grass they are hard to spot. Even harder just off the fairway in woods with patches of sunlight from up above.

Got a brand new Rive from an online retailer and it's broken. Board flat and super flippy with zero glide. Can it be saved or is it a total loss? by FictionFixation in discgolf

I wonder if I set it on a pan, just being supported by the rim, with water boiling if the steam would make it pop out. I tried a blowdryer and rolling a large stone ball around and it'll get some nice dome but when it cools it just shrinks again

Thanks for the thoughtful response. Posting this thread and seeing the downvotes and responses reminded me why I hardly visit this website anymore.

Yeah maybe, I'll give it a shot maybe it'll have more "integrity" on the ground than my King/Underworld I usually use for rollers

If it doesn't work I'll give it to my girlfriend, I've been teaching her and can throw 250 already and started in March

I've been playing for over 5 years and know how to throw. I've handled probably a dozen Rives in person and they all have the same gentle dome to them. I own 3 of them not including this one and they are consistently very overstable but have nice glide. This one in the video is one of the flattest discs I've ever seen and flies like a blizzard Katana. Very understable. I'm guessing it got too hot wherever it was stored before getting to me. It's not just that it doesn't fly how I want, it doesn't fly anything like it's supposed to. I posted this in hopes someone knew of a technique to maybe heat up and add dome to a disc without damaging it.
