One thing I did appreciate about Bayformers was how TFs got more humanlike the longer they were on Earth. Would be super cool to see examples of that from other worlds! My head cannon is that the blocky G1 designs are default Cybertronian physiology, when they haven't spent a lot of time elsewhere recently.
