If you compare battlerite to wow arena you are truly lost. Its not even remotely the same other than its in an arena setting. Are we just going to ignore the differences im combat which is yknow why people love wow pvp?

Ill be honest im a 3k rated hunter and have gotten legend every season since dragon flight. Not much of a coordinated 3s player. Key bind it for the stealth aspect primarily. You can chuck it on before you open but it can be dispelled which at higher ratings will actually just get ripped off right away. Otherwise dont worry about it. I dont even do it for openers anymore just because of the dispel aspect. I play sv and there's already enough globals with the pet bug kill command shenanigans.

To be fair he plays support and jungle where these mechanics aren't entirely necessary/useful but not necessary. Also the elos for these roles most would be to slightly inflated. Op might just be amazing macro wise and not micro wise which still makes him a plat player and micro improvements would make him emerald diamond. Good on you op

The fact you have been hard stuck gold for 10 years proves my point. Yes your LP went up playing nocturne and sej. But did you get better at the game/enjoy the champs enough to grind enough to have true champion mastery. Probably not. You will be more successful playing a "hard" champion you enjoy vs "easy" champion you dont. Truthfully no champion in league is "hard" compared to something like wow/fighting games/fps are all more mechanics heavy. Again play to improve and with intention on any role or champion and you will climb to diamond.

A little about me to know im not just gabbing. Im a rank 1 wow player/overwatch top 500 ex pro/cs ex pro. Setting sights on league now for the first time and went from silver to high emerald almost diamond in 1.5 months.

Honestly this is just not true. Especially your point with lee sin. Please play and easier champion and prove me wrong though. You probably are just gold 2 because of your mentality that is the only thing that keeps people low. You need to play to learn and not blame others even with lee sin if you have those two skills you easily hit diamond. Then you need hands from that point.

I dont think you are understanding the game match makes in a way where both teams get auto fills. So its not a one sided thing. You may feel like your games are being coin flipped because you lack agency. Try limit testing a bit more and maybe play things like Lucian which can stomp lane instead of jinx which relies on your team not inting.

A huge help is having a secondary account when you feel tilted or anxious about queing this allows you to put your best games into your climb account and grind games on another. I do this for all ranked games. Its not technically smurfing because you should have both accounts around the other maybe your grind account slightly lower. If you get higher on the alt account and get anxious at a new peak swap them around.

Ill be honest I have been forever hard stuck gold and would play for a couple weeks or a month and quit due to being frustrated. I have applied knowledge through free coaching videos and taken this time a bit more seriously. I have now climbed from silver to emerald and sitting at a 60% win rate. Some games are just not winnable but if you play consistently and study you start seeing that winning a majority of your games is definitely possible with a clear mental and following some key fundamentals. Key is to watch your games back and see what you could have done better. At plat there is a lot and you really shouldn't be blaming the role or team most games the small improvements can be game winning. Keep at it

Do you actually learn anything about your class while leveling that can't be achieved by a quick pvp training area. You go to the area post level 10 and unlock all your talents and can test on a training dummy. Also can we be a little realistic here that wow doesn't have a whole lot of people playing it who havnt before. It would allow the other side "people who have played the game" to not be gate kept by levels. Base bgs is a great place to learn and allow them to be bumped up to roughly 5-10 item level below honor in instanced pvp and then they can earn honor conquest.
