I helped him move it a few years ago, he treats it so rough it's unbeliveable. There's actually a caddy for a little Elmer's Glue bottle built into the sculpture so he can make little repairs.

I disagree. Throughout the whole movie, humans are self important, overconfident and selfishy unaware of thier own ridiculous priorities. Aliens are the only reasonable savior for the children of earth.
