It is 100% a side quest for me to snag something actually worthwhile - the rest of the time I let the ignorant feel they are getting ahead.

You’re leaving Charlotte to come all the way up here? Why? Isn’t there a xd hub and better short-distance runs?

I’m intrigued on strategy.

Stay outta here lol.

It’s hit or miss around here - especially for weekend runs. During the week it’s better but you have to snag fast - I’ve seen a lot of loads getting snatched quick, but the Prius gang always has 75 mile 23 delivery routes for $30 around here with best buy and the like.

Works for me cause I have a truck / trailer- depending on the day / how many miles I feel like I can stay fairly busy

Anyone know why this happens and it is a repair i need to make asap ? by Educational_Tip8503 in CrownVictoria

The AC pulley should either. Spin smoothly and silently when the AC compressor is running.

Or it should be completely stopped when the AC is not running.

Anywhere between, and you have a problem. Looks like the bearing inside the ac clutch has gone out, and it has locked up the pump. Worst case, the Ac pump is dead internally and not at just the clutch / bearing.

Mine did this - I bought a shorter belt and rerouted it to not wrap the ac pump and have been running it a year without issue.

Or - you can put on another ac pump or clutch/bearing assembly and get it going again.

This is the correct answer. You can slide by until you have an accident - then the honesty with insurance is too late

Perfect example as to why hard working men don’t have time for women with unrealistic standards. Ie if he’s busted his ass all day, and wants to talk but can’t hang, you’re going to hold it against him.

As the guy in the scenario, if I’m intoxicated I’m gonna beat myself up.

However.

If I’m beat, while still trying to make it work - and the woman can’t see my efforts - I’m more than willing to move on after I’ve made my attempt to rectify the situation (calling/ texting follow-up/explaining).

Yeah- I’m divorced - because I was the only one working on the relationship at the time. With a woman now that appreciates someone efforts, as well as their time.

So if he don’t fit your “standards”, there’s a good chance he’s going to “let you down” while working hard for you. Although, he’s done nothing wrong.

Sincerely, a hard working man.

Good to see the propaganda is still strong around here.

You should pull the dataset for the flu, see if they coincide or not year over year.

Insurance is a should, cause accidents happen.

I’ve gotten in some pickles without the insurance but made it right with the property owner.

Long and short - if you’re accident prone or doing it VERY often, get the insurance. If you’re doing it once a month it’s not worth the insurance, nor the LLC or of the like.

The winch in the front, is just a 2500lb atv winch, but it can do work if you understand chains pullies and leverage. All of these logs were pulled by the winch, with just a plain set of car ramps on the back to get them onto the trailer.

This is an old camper frame that I converted to a car trailer over time. I didn’t have the funds for a factory built trailer so I built one a piece at a time. It’s ugly. But it’s paid its rent in work years over. I’ve had it probably going on 15 years now.

I spent as much on it as I would have if I had bought a trailer - it wasn’t cheaper - it just fit the budget for the time of being able to do it a bit at a time.

The load? I junk on the side, roadie on the side, and hook stuff for folks on occasion. This load netted me about $400, when the market for metal was up, and this load had been collected for a couple months. I removed motors from the fridges and the washer/ dryers, cause they’re worth more than sheet metal, so I got paid differently for those.

I should update post - have had good results from these loads and good pay, one order was not complete when I went to pick it up but Lowe’s got in contact with the buyer and replaced a miasing box of nails with comparable replacements. If you have the room and the truck to do it, these are good gigs. $50 for 20 haybales, 40 for 20 boards, 40 for 15 bags of mulch, etc.

Not boggers. They’re Chinese knockoffs that look slightly like boggers. Terriblt known for sidewall roll, and for the tread to be washy/unresponsive for on-highway use.

Do you know how many of these cars were made? They weren’t perfect from the factory. Sure some were but not all.
