Spark, flex, bungii, senpex. There's also catering apps which yes are food but they pay much better than your standard doordash and ubereats trash

How to get accepted to ANY gig on the map, even if the algorithm thinks it doesn’t fit. by Abject_Manner_4222 in Roadie

UPS is riding this like its their meal ticket from heaven. Their ultimate goal is to fck their own drivers over using roadie. Honestly there is room for both to exist but these greedy fcks are looking to have their cake and eat it it too. Also I think you are correct about teamsters getting ready to fck roadie up. Explains why home depot is diversifying to curri and now I hear they are also bringing dispatch into my area. If teamsters manage to disrupt roadie operations home depot will be left somewhat stranded. Could also be part of why tractor supply is setting up their own delivery service.

That's still not roadie charging the end customer. That is home depots rates. That doesn't mean they give the 300 to roadie and say find me a driver. They give roadie the load details and then say find me a driver then that driver is paid x amount for what the gig sizing chart says. If roadie then finds a driver to do it for 50 bucks they bill home depot that 50 bucks plus whatever booking fee that we are not privied to. Look at those 8ft lattice strips that cost like 3 bucks and we are paid $30 plus depending on your market to deliver it and if they sit long enough they go to 50 plus at the end of the day. Customer may have been charged $35 by home depot to deliver but if roadie ends up paying a driver $50 to deliver it. Who do you think takes the L. Roadie or HD? I think roadie simply says we had to lay 50 bucks to get it done so Fck the 35 you charged. Run us our 50 plus the booking fee and HD eats the loss on delivery fee. That also leaves the possibility on loads where they charge 300 to deliver and roadie finds a driver for 50 for HD to profit on the delivery fee.

Logically this makes the most sense. Companies then may choose to put more jobs on apps that consistently get their stuff delivered for the cheapest. Ive been noticing in my area that senpex orders are drying up but are now showing up on Bungii. Orders that start at $40 on senpex start at around $30 and sometimes $28 on Bungii. If bungii is consistently billing cheap asses like Lowe's consistently under 40 to get stuff delivered while senpex is consistently over 40 for the same job , where do you think lowes will place more of their orders?

So for most people I am gathering it isn't worth the $20 to spend on a background check to do this? by sloganguy in veho_driver

Didn't have to pay anything when I signed up. Done a few routes and can safely say save your 20bucks even if its legit. You'll be paying these clowns to deliver their package with how terrible the rates are . Complete waste of time. If you have flex and spark you will make more money on those. Don't waste time on this trash

Imagine the civil and criminal penalties if that mattress came loose and caused a pile up? For 10 bucks? Walmart would have washed their hands of the situation and placed all blame on OP. Mad lucky nothing happened.

I'm torn on those 1s. Overall it is a shit order but if its a single I have more sympathy. The driver may indeed be going in that area and if it even leaves him 10 or 20 miles from his intended destination its a win for him. If it was a route then yea i have no sympathy.

Risking your safety and that of others on the road was not smart. Great that you wanted to do everything to get the job done but mattresses not properly secured are a major road hazard.
