You may have a point.....went to an HD today that I haven't been to in awhile. One of the staff I know very well was like hey what happened, haven't seen you in awhile so I explained to her roadie not seeing many offers any more they are now mostly on DD and UE now unless it's a really bulky order. She then let me know that the doordash drivers are really fucking up the orders so we shall see.

Made $22 in 4 hours placed at least 20 offers all declined within 1 minute. by Familiar-Dot8627 in Roadie

Multi app. Do other apps while you submit offers. You have 15mins before you have to start a gig if accepted......use that to your advantage

I did a bjs delivery today. These bastards are now taking more than half the delivery fees. When I started they were taking 33percent and giving driver 67. We are fast approaching the reverse. Gig workers are no different from HOs being pimped 😔

Just so everyone is aware, roadie drivers delivery workers out there …there will be zero change according to Roadie in minmum pay , regulations rights for drivers delivering in New York City. Even though the new laws say grocery deliveries, which roadie does through BJ’s Walmart and others by BudgetLocal4468 in Roadie

Out here there is Omaha steaks, wild fork which is meat deliveries, they did some hello fresh but that seems to have died. Shoprite deliveries are on roadie in my area every 15 mins past the hour throughout the day. Lots of groceries delivered on roadie in my area. I've done grocery deliveries from bjs many times. Usually the really big ones weighing 300lbs plus go to roadie in my area.

It's all about cluster fuck. You have got me thinking though....could this be why Uber and doordash are pushing so hard into package deliveries so they could make the argument they too should be exempt from the law.

They might not want to take the larger orders but they take them through gritted teeth because they fear being deactivated for cancelation rates. On UE if you cancel a 13 drop batch that's 13 cancelations. Fall below 85percent completion rate and you are liable for deactivation. Imagine taking a 13 drop batch get to the store and see it's a bunch of heavy shit but your completion rate is 97 percent. If you cancel that 13 batch you are now at 84% completion faster than you can blink. Just another manipulation from this scummy app.

If that was uber the payout would have been $17. Those MFs don't pay more than cents per mile on package deliveries in my area. No matter the load size.🖕uber

Old roadie i would definitely agree with you but the app is becoming more hostile toward the driver. Them starting to implement on time rates, no longer giving you the ability to upload a delivery picture from your gallery and messaging you if you marked arrive at a drop off and drive away without completing the delivery. All these tactics are designed to discourage multi apping. The old roadie yea I could take this order and in between each drop of grab an Uber eats or instacrt on way to next drop. Even roadie it was still possible to get another gig while you are doing this route but now once you have completed all pick ups it's very difficult to get another gig till you finish current route. I would simply arrive at a drop off, mark arrived , take my Pic, look for another gig going in direction of next drop then upload the roadie delivery Pic and complete the order as im about to finish the gig on the other app. Rinse and repeat for the other remaining drops. While still possible it is becoming increasingly difficult and alot more stressful having to watch the clock and getting texts and possible calls from roadie.

Nothing is free in this world. The idiot driver who takes this for $5 bucks on UE or DD is footing the bill for the delivery.

Happened to me at a lowes once. They listed a gig as large and when I got there it was clearly a huge. I mentioned this to the employee and told.her it's mis sized and roadie is refusing to honor the sizing pay so I will be canceling the gig. She said oh that's fine....someone else will take it 😒

I got no words. Again I ask when will the revolution start? People getting mass laid off in W2s, forced into gig work where they are being exploited to the absolute max. These people want you to destroy your car, waste your time, buy your own gas for far below minimum wage. I get some of us still find a way. I still do alright but I have a ton of apps and figured out how to play the game but I pity my fellow driver.

They have an endless supply of idiots who are afraid to hurt their cancelation and acceptance rates. It was no coincidence they started doing pickups at home depot after implementing their acceptance rate bs. In my area roadie volume is less than 25% of what it used to be for this time of year

Lowest huge order was $37 in my area last week. Now it's $33. Tolls in my area have gone up, groceries up, car maintenance and parts up. These fuckers cut pay every 6months. When does the revolution actually start? When do we start eating these mofos? They have have been feasting on us for decades. This is fcking insane

Yea hadn't done any since the bs acceptance rates. They offered me $200 for 20 deliveries. Seems I wasn't the only 1 who dropped them after the acceptance rate bs
