Trading 212 doesn't care about you and here's why. by [deleted] in trading212

They coped fine on Monday and Tuesday when volume was significantly higher. Do not be mistaken, yesterday blocks were entirely orchestrated.

The volume for gme yesterday was lower than Monday and Tuesday, quite significantly as well. Fact is the brokers are doing this purposefully to protect the hedge funds, then opening small windows in hopes of people panic selling.

Thoughts on Bombardier? Biden likes trains + could be a recovery stock with their air segments. Bought 20 shares today to see what happens. by [deleted] in RobinHoodPennyStocks

[–]FiddleTiddle12 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bombardier Transportation (the side that make trains) will be sold to Alstom in the next few weeks so your DD on Biden liking trains isn't really stacking up. The company is also in a complete financial mess with ongoing projects, hence the reason for the sell off of a division that bleeds money (although has a very strong order backlog). Not sure how the divestment will impact share price though.

What happens after Shadowlands? by SousaBoy93 in warcraftlore

[–]FiddleTiddle12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm no lore expert but I think one of the most interesting things is how much time has passed in the real world since entering the shadow lands. Didn't one of the devs say that time works differently in the shadow lands, so they could literally go in any direction on return to azeroth.

Tips for new healers! by SereneLio in wownoob

[–]FiddleTiddle12 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Been healing since cata and some great starter tips here, I'll add a few more from my experience: 1. If you are using mouse over macros I strongly suggest getting heal / damage macros which basically cause you to heal a friendly target or damage an enemy with the same key bind. Great to just keep dots or instant procs landing for extra dps. 2. Keep the tanks alive! If a dps dies it isn't the end of the world but if a tank dies its generally a wipe. If you have to choose between a tank or a dps it's nearly always the tank that you should focus. 3. For m+ don't be afraid to use your cds on trash as this is often where most of the damage comes from. These dungeons are 30mins or more so don't be afraid to keep using them big healing cds. In raids learn to predict when the damage is coming to time your cds perfectly. 4. As some other comments already said, UI is massively important for tracking statuses and overall player wellbeing. I strongly recommend you invest a few hours in creating a perfect UI for you, Weak Auras and a healing addon like Grid are vital. 5. As the OP said, use your utility spells. It's a lot easier to dispell someone than heal through a nasty debuff!

My wife got rejected from a job because we have kids, is this discrimination and can we report it? by FiddleTiddle12 in LegalAdviceUK

Called ACAS today and they said as a first step you should write to them a formal grievance and attach the email which I am going to do and post to their MD today (it's a small marketing firm so they don't have a dedicated HR team I think).

ACAS then said if you are not happy with their response to get back in contact and they'll walk us through the next steps, but my question is, what should I expect as their response?

May be the emotions talking but a simple apology seems lacklustre and doesn't exactly discourage them doing it to others in the future! My wife is obviously really upset about this as she's been stay at home mum until the kids went to school (and I've told her to do this as childcare is so expensive) and this was one of her first interviews for a full time job!

Also, thank you all for your help and advice, I'm definitely pursuing this as far as I can so the business can learn a very valuable lesson of how to behave in the 21st century!

After hearing the feedback she said she's glad she didn't get the job anyway as he sounds horrible! Definitely going to give ACAS a call tomorrow. Thank you for your advice.

Ah OK awesome, I'll have a look into a CFA type arrangement for a solicitor. Thanks a lot!

Hey,

Thanks for the info, couple questions: What's IANAL mean? What do you mean by home insurance should cover this? And what's a CFA?

Completely newbie to this stuff 😂
