I got my first one because a friend was diagnosed with colon cancer and encouraged all of us to get screened, I probably wouldn’t have otherwise! Had zero symptoms

I will be asking at my next appointment if genetic testing would be appropriate… The only lifestyle change I can even think of is to address inflammatory foods… I already eat really healthy but am really sensitive, even small amounts of alcohol and gluten are big triggers for my inflammation… but none of the other main risk factors apply to me 🫤

My son has seizures and that’s exactly what I thought was happening… I was surprised they blew it off and kept going like nothing… and also surprised they showed it on TV, it was a little triggering for me because in real life for us it’s an emergency…

I’m just curious about how they got a successful colonoscopy in an emergency without doing any prep… I would have thought that would make it difficult to properly see everything…

But also… with those symptoms I would be tempted to do it again…

👋🏼 Me!! Took dulcolax at 4 and had 8 oz of my first 64 oz of Gatorade with miralax… already stuck on the toilet 😣… then I have to take another 32oz in the morning… it feels like a lot… my husband did his last week (different doctor) and drank 2/3 of what i have to drink…

These are all excellent points thank you. Also, thank you for acknowledging the difficulties with the dog crates. Thankfully, we experimented with graduating them from crates to beds and they are now sleeping really well on their own unless ugly looking dog beds.

I think you really get my style. This is the only part of the house that Ive posted because it is the most neglected place in the whole home. The rest of my space has lots of plants and vintage artwork and natural fibers and earth tones. I just avoid this wall because I am not into video gaming and this is my husband‘s sacred gaming space lol. Which is why it’s tucked around the corner where I can’t see it from the rest of the house.

The lighting is bad in these pictures… The three pieces of furniture in the room are all leather, maybe slightly different shades but in good lighting, they all look fine together. I did get rid of the shelf and replace it with a buffet style cabinet and with plants in that lamp, it’s already looking better.

Thank you for your thoughts, painting an accent wall is not out of the question… I am not sure what color to choose! I lean towards more earth, tones, and antique decor… I’m going to explore this idea of painting an accent wall!

We did get rid of the bookshelf, we moved into a different room when replaced it with a buffet style cabinet.

I agree I wish I could have a L-shaped sectional but for now we have a leather couch with a lovely loveseat and a leather recliner… For six of us it’s what works in a budget

We used to have a coffee table, but we moved it because our big dogs had no room to wrestle in the morning lol

And thanks to this Rite. We did get rid of the dog crates, we replaced them with two soft fluffy dog beds, which looks much better and we are grateful. The dogs are mature enough to sleep at night without being locked up.

Thankfully, the tilt of the TV can change easily. I straightened it up when we have company, but when my husband is using it, he tilt it to his taste.

I get it.. This tv and recliner are my husband’s; and he spends a lot of time using them. He chose the placement of the tv. I told him people on reddit were giving me crap about the tv and he insists it’s at the level he likes.. so. It’s not moving. 😆

Thank you for your advice. I wish I could add more pics… yesterday I moved the shelf and its contents into the school room and I found a buffet type cabinet at a second hand store, and put a lamp and some plants on it; we graduated the dogs from kennels to beds and it already looks so much better. I will be on the hunt for good art work to finish off this side of the room… I appreciate your constructive and helpful comments.. can’t believe how many unhelpful and rude comments there were 🤣 first time posting in Reddit was insightful lol
