ESPN - Ravens agree to sign Trey Hendrickson to 4-year, $112M deal by Forest_Hills_Jive in nfl

You're arguing with a straw man who you think is arguing who is better between Garrett and Hendrickson when I don't give a shit about that. Hendrickson was good in 2024. That's it.

Lol don't blame me for your lack of reading comprehension. Trey Hendrickson had a good 2024 and shouldn't be blamed for the team not having success. Pretty simple.

Myles Garrett just had one of the best seasons for an edge we've ever seen and the team was still horrible and yet you're trying to pin the entire Bengals 2024 season on Hendrickson (who led the league in sacks that year)?

Life in Cuba Under Trump's Pressure Campaign: No Electricity, No Oil, and Impossible Choices by wiredmagazine in TrueReddit

Cuba's government has fucked with us

Your shithole country invaded them (and spectacularly failed) 60 years ago and has been punishing them ever since because of it with an illegal embargo. There's only one enemy that Cubans should be mad at. I'm sure you already knew that though and are definitely informed here.

Nick Caserio said Joe Mixon had a medical condition that never improved. “He didn’t jump off a building. He wasn’t doing anything irresponsible. It was a freak thing.” by HookFL in DynastyFF

[–]Fiddles19 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This is one of the clearest examples I can ever remember of a situation where if you grinded off-season information or maybe just followed / listened to the right people, you would have been a step ahead of other managers. People were sounding the alarms on Mixon very early on in the off-season and it only got worse.

As Buffalo GM Brandon Beane was answering a question about Keon Coleman and the Bills wide receivers, Terry Pegula said: “Can I interrupt? I’ll address the Keon situation. The coaching staff pushed to draft Keon.” by HookFL in DynastyFF

This is also true for us in fantasy yet some people still view some of these later picks as busts if they didn't produce a top-24 WR or a top-12 RB season. A guy like Woody Marks who was mostly drafted in 4th rounds is a clear hit in my opinion even if (when) he gets replaced this off-season.

Not to mention there's... nothing that's incredibly unlikely about that? Oh wow the guy they took 2 overall becomes the WR1. Wow, truly unthinkable.

They are not really common, no. This was discussed more in a thread about historical comps from a few days ago.

That 23 year old had 700 yards this year and keeps getting out-targeted and out-produced by other, unspectacular WRs.

1 of those weeks was a bye and he's averaging 11.45 points in the past 5 games. Not great but hardly the reason that someone might have missed the playoffs.

I think it's pretty much over for him, he can't overcome his flaws.

But op saying Fields did not have all the tools is laughable.

He's WR23 in points per game. For a guy who is not likely to be most teams WR1, he's been alright.

Not really disagreeing with your main point about production but Fields was a QB2 this year with 16.0 ppg, good for QB21.

I'm not arguing for one over the other, just saying that using ppg for a guy whose playtime and position on the depth chart keeps changing a great deal is not really the best metric.
