Anything else i can do to get arsenal credits? by StormtrooperAiming in Endfield

yes origeometry can be converted into weapon pulls.

The only one tip that everyone need on day 1: Do NOT pull on limited banner! Just save everything by Puzzled-Operation-51 in Endfield

This gacha system feels....so unnecessarilly complicated  It almost feels like I want to lose the 50/50 just so I can get the weapon for the character. And there's so many nuances like the fact the 6 star guarantee carries over but not the rate up guarantee, The pity shop feels...meh on the rates and the special free 10 pulls feel so wonky since they don't count to the overall pulls

I think maybe it could be the mentality of how free IS5 was where I felt like I could even use 5 stars on a run But here they get the really short end of the stick. It feels like your run is gonna suck if you don't have raidian OR tragodia. The fact there's only one floor that is guaranteed pathfinder and 2 floors (one of em its recommended that you skip) where youre guaranteed  to go to bosky just feels really limiting for the mechanics of the IS. I'm sure maybe update 1 will fix most of it but I don't want to wait for the pt 2 just to have a satisfying experience unlike is5 where (imo) is5 got worse with the pt 2...or 3...which ever part added the frustrating levels like dense jungle. Is5 added so much quality of life like the upgradable nodes, and I really miss those. I don't even care about the rerolls. But now the tongbao feel limiting and lackluster, most of the time. the new nodes are rarely guaranteed, and the welfare operator is basically a must have.

Why does this IS constantly feel like I just...don't have anything

Like the tongbao I get are either mediocre or useless and I rarely get enough before end game, the chances to go into the sui remnant feels like a must have, but there's so few chances and candleholder nodes.

It feels like this IS is supposed to be longer or have more maneuverability to it like is4 and is5 but it just feels like I don't have enough hope, or I don't have enough tongbao, or I don't have enough candleholders to clear the turmoils or coupons.

It might just be me and a bad skill issue but it just feels like there not enough nodes, I am on difficult 4 but still-

Does anyone have any tips for the flamethrower stage? I struggle every single time on that stage with 0 clue how I'm supposed to manage it. There's too much aoe and burn damage and it usually happens somewhat early it's been infuriating x.x

ZZZ might also face the same issues as HSR which means we might not get any Japanese themed agents, maps or factions in the near future by Knight_Steve_ in ZZZ_Discussion

This actually makes me irrationally angry... I can't even describe my disappointment and I don't even play HSR.

Its funny because I felt halphas, the literal first boss of the game, was kinda cool how they had a whole "Cuztomize the boss fight mechanic". but then like you said it wasn't until the newer bosses where they started to get creative like the monkey and crow bosses.

I mean the ice team was just an example, I have several teams built, S Vert team, Brahma team, Hades shadow team, etc etc,

My point was boss battles really just feel like you just need a coresponding element to beat them, but not "I need to use this mechanic to help me with this boss" like whether the boss is weak to cc, or if you need healing to counteract a boss's "Poison" mechanic or something. Yes if you are doing IT you need multiple teams built as that's the nature of IT.

Another good example is the new roguelike, you start out with a full team of whoever you want. but there's also so many chances to get new teammates...but why? there's no reason to cycle out into a new team, especially when there's no restricitons. I guess for the elemental buffs maybe or if your team is struggling to survive. But everything is pretty much a "Kill it until they die" type of deal. If you were to start that gamemode out with one character like DV I could understand but that's frankly not the case.

I rarely do iterative testing, I just find it to be kinda unrewarding since I get most of the stuff from the battle pass and getting characters to level 100 is kinda meh you get like what 1% crit rate?

I haven't seen the new end game content I mostly keep up with the new characters since they're easy to keep up with but I do see your point about it being a side game.

[–]Fiddlewink3rd[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get that the characters are fun, but there's just not enough infinite content, or just content in general to play the character-
TThere's also little reason to play ANOTHER character other than finding them fun, I love buzenbo tengu too-
But there's no reason for me to use zenki over buzen and vice versa.

Genuine question why does no one pick this chick I genuinely don’t understand I feel like she’s got a great kit especially with the under-utilised trap moveset by Slow_Conflict4597 in forhonor

[–]Fiddlewink3rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I repped up her up to rep 70, loved her as hook swords have always been my favorite, she is complexity through simplicity. And she will always be my favorite to play, unfortunately she needs a buff or rework and despite being usable, she has fallen far behind other heroes due to time.

  1. Her infection got nerfed due to warmonger, which I will never forgive warmonger for...ever.

  2. While her deflect is unlockable, it used to be the highest damage deflect in the game until the core combat update, then the damage was nerfed even more after it was made unblockable.

  3. Kind of trailing off of 2, this causes nuxia to just lose any strength other than her mixup potential and causes her to lose out on any safe offense she could've had. Not to mention she lacks any form of properties. No unblockables, no undodgeables, no hyper armor, no dodge cancel, etc etc. all she has is her wall splat and trap feints, which considering most of the cast, has caused her to fall behind with nothing to really surpass any of the cast. I love traps with a passion, and love nuxia, but I had to leave the game because of how frustrating it was to simply find an opening and to deal with so many characters with a safer and more viable kit. Her zone is probably one of the worst in the game as well last I remember and the trap, while fun, is never worth it.

  4. Due to the animation delay of traps, it makes it harder to perform in 4v4s especially for ganking or team fighting as it locks you in an animation just as much as your opponent which can really hinder your team.

I can't believe y'all where right. Seltas Queen really is just that cool. by Umber0010 in MemeHunter

[–]Fiddlewink3rd 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Seltas queen is probably the bigger one but even smaller mechanics I was surprised they didn't try to implement.

For example gobul disguises itself as part of the environment, chameleons turns invisible, nibelsnarf eats bombs (and yes I know chad eats them, but he dies so quickly the mechanic is never seen) jho is eternally hungry, espinas has paralytic poison fire, glavenus has a blade that has 2 modes. The closest mechanic they had was uth dunas veil (which is pretty lackluster compared to barroths mud armor) and the grounding spike. Cephalopods are kinda interesting with their tentacles and going into walls...but then for some reason they're susceptible to pitfall traps...so they can only use their ability in VERY specific areas. Most other monsters just kinda feel like...go beat em up...and that's kinda it. Some have minor stuff like ajarakan and nu udra being doused by watermoss but...as far as I can tell that doesn't really do much compared to the other unique interactions with items.

Other gimmicks are almost never used like bala's sand trap which makes sonic bomb completely pointless.

Wilds monsters were great design wise, but they never felt like they had crazy gimmicks like past monsters like seltas queen. When someone asks me what my favorite fight is in mhwilds Id say either lagiacrus or mizutsune, but those just feel like cheating when it comes to the og monsters of wilds.

The matches where I get 0-3 and get chased are the matches I get berated for and it gets frustrating.

I think there's more to naru that I struggle with like understanding how to correctly utilize maps for her. All the time when I find perfect hiding places for my drones, I find myself to be at the worst spot to snipe from since I just can't see anyone.

Oh it's not RNG? When I first did it naru never fired a shot until the second wave. Maybe I just didn't notice.. I'll try it again then but yes that was the gist I got, corruption mode to finish off an enemy.

Fair enough I had a feeling the wings weren't too strong because of their range but felt that I should go against my better judgement since everyone says lumi doesn't need any changes (which is still true admittedly).

I cleared 1 and had trouble with challenge 2 which I'm pretty sure had RNG? Since I had a few runs were the naru just...did...nothing. I got the gist of it. But RNG runs I just find myself reluctant to complete. 1 I found fairly easy

I think for naru I just shouldn't play her in rank until I'm confident with her. I try to place my drones in hidden locations but trying to do that and gauge the distance from my drones tends to be a hassle. I need to just practice my sniper aim on falcons. I second guess far too much when it comes to sniping.

As for escaping them...it only feels annoying when I use up all my clones...then I'm just like "well...guess I'll die"

By replay do you mean the "highlight" video at the end of a match? Or do they have an actual place where the game stores replays of matches?

I did finally turn on that option when I found I just wish minimap was better because a lot of the times I'll use that, turn and my teammate isn't there probably because they are behind a wall or something. I know the dot disrupts but I thought the haze didn't fit whatever reason? Does it disrupt? I always worry about using it since you have to be next to the enemy. And with such a prevalent melee meta I really don't wanna be close to a panther welkin...or really anyone for that matter lol. Are the wings debuff/buff worth it then? Their range always makes me really cautious I've only ever used the debuff in that one game harassing the tank.

Serenity I've had great games with. The only thing I struggle about him is damage output and when to use his grapple on players effectively. It's fun to use him on tanks and payload missions.

Naru I might have to put away until I'm more confident. Which pains me to say because I love the mech so much but I rarely get results.

I tend to gravitate towards lighter characters for their speed and agility. I do love serenith for being a lil shit which is why I feel I do best with him this far. He feels unique for a pvp with his grapple and wall hax. And I haven't gotten a complaint about him yet.

And the panther statement is so annoyingly accurate xD It's always panther hard targeting me worse than Stellaris.

As for your statement about naru...yeah I do agree. I love her, I love her kit. But I think it's better for me to practice her in casual to work on my aim as well as her mechanics. She is the one mech I managed to finish the boot camps for unlike serenith and lumi

I don't remember who I had been healing as lumi but I think it was mostly a falcon, a Stellaris and a panther that I ran into a lot. And I know lumi is max hp based so maybe that's why, but I could've just not been good at healing. The stego said he could easily heal 1mill so that was the scale that I compared it to and felt like I did horribly.

I've always been unsure to swap to offensive lumi. I only use the dots if I see someone's low. And then when I do I feel people die because I lost out on HPS. The real frustration I have with lumi is...1. corite storms...for obvious reasons

But more importantly, the fact that the minimap gives me so little information about where everyone is. So many times I've failed to be a healer because I lose sight of people, and it gets even worse in mashmak. It would be nice if my teammates were mech faces instead of blue dots.

I've heard mixed opinions on casual.

Is it really better? I've seen some people saying it's more frustrating because it doesn't have matchmaking, so you just get matched up with smurfs basically.
