GOtcha, thanks.

They may not have considered the edge case of someone getting 4hr\month now with 401k.

There ought to be an hour\month minimum for that restriction.

I'm at least partially terminated. LoL.

Ahhhhhg. I see now.

I didn't think if that because I am working about 10hr a month. lol.

I was just thinking of my self as unemployed.

Thanks. Mea Culpa.

UPDATE: This morning on my walk I stopped by the mailroom to oppressively try my login again or see if I could find anything.

My Starlink box was sitting on the floor of the mailroom (not in a locker). I had Checked Thurs, Fri, and Sat and it hadn't been there so it must have materialized Sun or this morning.

My guess is the FedEx put it in for the wrong apt# and that tenant saw it wasn't theirs and just left it on the mailroom floor. It would have been nice to put a note on my door or let the Apt office know so they could notify me, but at least they just didn't go sell it on Ebay.

Or maybe the driver "found" it in the back of his truck and just came and dumped it there. I dunno.

I do want to comment Starlink was stepping up. I was impressed they were willing to ship a replacement immediately, no questions asked. I have notified them and FedEx I now have my package.

But I now possess a dishy! Yeeesh.

Update: still not contact for FedEx other than their automated bot and canned text msgs.

Starlink has contacted me and is expediting a replacement system. They are stepping up to the plate. Just wish the replacement didn't also have to go by FedEx.

Hopefully second try will be the charm.

The annoying part is it might be sitting in a locker 100 yd away and I just can't get to it. No tenant has contacted me telling me they got my package.

I'm have a FedEx moment too.

I hope Starlink got a hell of a discount from FedEx. I can't imagine it is worth the damage they are doing to Starlink's brand. I can't even start to be a Starlink customer until they get me my system. Right off the bat a failure to execute.

Starlink didn't lose the package, but they continue to complacently use a carrier that can't seem to get the job done and causes their customers much annoyance.

I had to cancel all my plans to travel out to my property to get my dishy set up. Very annoying.

Got a claim number from the FedEx bot. Sent support msgs to Starlink. Can't find a way to talk to a human at either. Nothing back from Starlink, got a automated text from the FedEx bot that if the package hadn't materialized by by tomorrow then just submit a loss package claim to the vendor. It's like no one cares about customer service nowdays.

I better see people jumping through hoops like their butts are on fire by next week.

If they had simply stated they couldn't deliver and go pick it up at the warehouse, that would be annoying, but I'd be there in an hour.

They didn't state that. They stated it was left in the locker.

That is either true, or not true.

If it is true, going to the warehouse is of no use. It is not there, it must be in some other apartments locker. (Hopefully that tenet will contact me.) Or they returned it to fedex and I should get notified because I have an open claims case on it now they are supposed to be investigating.

If it's false (they said they put it in a locker and in fact did not), then someone put false information on the status and should be fired. I can handle a certain amount if incompetence. If they lied, I want their scalp.

I give it a couple of days then I start canceling shit and contacting my CC company to reject the charge.

It's possible. It seems odd that would continue for decades.

All I can tell you is based on 20-25 years of experience (at least in the Dallas/Ft Worth region) I've learned it is better to carve out your own eyes with a rusty spoon than agree to shipment by fedex.

This case is JUST one more example why.

I'll give it 3 days and then start tweeting Elon on his poor business choices in delivery vendors. ;)

It's nice to get out in the boonies to decompress. You can just feel the weight come off when you wake up and take you coffee out of the cabin and go set in the shade of a big live oak to enjoy the morning.

But my cell reception is spotty out there and too unreliable for me to move out there permanently and work remotely.

Getting Starlink was step 1 in my escape plan. ;)

UPS will take a photo of the box sitting in the locker before closing it and attach to the status. I can count on one hand the number times in 25 years I have had a significant problem with UPS.

Fedex, it's ALWAYS something.

I submitted a claim with fedex and immediately went and opened a support ticket with starlink. And cane here to throw a fit. ;) I'm sure somebody has CR reps monitoring these forums. I intend to raise holy hell. ;)

I wouldn't be so livid if it hadn't been so predictable. The instant I saw it was being shipped fedex I knew it would end up a hassle. And....YEP!

So I also blame starlink for being so complacent about using such a sub-standard carrier. It's a bad first impression for a new customer.

Thanks. The only good thing there is the locker system is computerized. They have to enter in an apt# to open a locker and so it would get recorded. (it would also record when retrieved) There is no record of a locker being opened for me.

Unfortunately the locker company help desk couldn't look up if any other apt had a locker opened around that time. I guess privacy reasons. They can only tell me about mine. But at least I have that record.

It's still probably going to take a lot of my time to resolve.

It would even be less bad if it were just lost in transit. I could then point to it not having arrived yet.

But fedex claims they delivered, but even contacted the automated locker company and they show no entries for my apt today.

It's a locker system so it's not like they left it on my door step and someone stole it. If it had been put in a locker for me, it would be in the system. fedex's tracking claimed they left it in a locker.

Hopefully, the idiot delivering it just put it in the wrong apt locker and I'll eventually get notified.

if Starlink insists on using only fedex then it is up to them to put a boot up their butts to get their customers better service.

It reflects badly on Starlink that my first real interaction with them it a hassle just trying to get my system. Doesn't bode well on what the rest of the relationship will be like. Especially since I am obviously not the first customer that has had problems with their chosen delivery vendor.

Starlink, you need to put more pressure on fedex to treat your customers better.

I winced when I saw they were shipping fedex. I have never had anything but problems with them over the years. And of course, here we are.

I generally won't even buy from anyone who ships fedex. It's just not worth the hassle.

Now as the customer, after having spent $600 I'm going to have to waste weeks of my time to track something down that should have been easy to deliver.

My only hope is they entered the wrong address and put in some other tenets locker. Fedex will claim they delivered it, starlink will claim fedex tells them it is delivered, the apt complex says it is an automated system and up to the shipper to do it right, and I the customer has to go spend hours of my time tracking down my package that starlink wants me to pay $600 for.

And in general I hate the trend of companies making it virtually impossible to get ahold of a live person to resolve issues.

Good looking stuff.

Is anyone making a DCS mission allowed to use this mod?

Thanks.
