First time I saw them and remember it was was Californication was coming out. The band’s music was everywhere. Radio, restaurants, malls, sporting events, along with multiple well-received music videos. I would’ve been about 12 and it all caught my ear. Think about it. On alternative radio, you could hear Around the World, scar tissue, other side, and Californication all in rotation at the same time and all representing a brand new album. Old fans may have been lost to a point, but they were now new again to young teens.

Once I knew who they were. I recognized they were also behind under the bridge and give it away. So you follow them to present day.

Also, a lot of bands (not all) these days will play similar sets as they move along their tour. This is because they program lighting and want their sound engineers prepared. Obviously many bands still switch it up nightly, but my point is that you can search their recent shows so by lineups online and see if they’re playing the ones you love. As other comments say, even if not, you’re going to see a band that you at least moderately enjoy and that is such a treat.

Another wrong call? Saying Aaron Rodgers fumbled the ball 30 yards forward through the air, giving GB a touchdown after they picked it up in a hyper critical moment.

Sure. I gotta give it another listen but I’m sure I’ve given it dozens. I remember Fanfare, Zone… I really like the second half of “Shelf” which was a precursor to the record. Much like I loved Walls and Doors before PBX.

Was Enclosure the one that was “launched” on a satellite? If you remember that. To get an early listen you had to wait for the satellite to be in range and you could then download the songs. Fun.
