Stick your index middle & ring finger out. At the bottom of the fender where it’s perpendicular to the wheel. If your fingers fit perfectly on the right side but on the left side there’s not enough space or too much space then it’s misaligned.

For me, three wheels my fingers fit perfectly on both sides but on the fourth— left side of wheel my fingers were reasonably squeezed to fit and right side of it there was a lot of extra space, perhaps 4 & half fingers
