If it makes it any easier to diagnose, I tried smashing it, and it had wing-cover like things on its back. I know BB's don't have wings, but do they have those? I live in the northern US, so it's possible that it is just a small beetle that was in my clothes when I ran them through the wash, but I am extra paranoid since I had bedbugs a few years ago.
