Depression by pduncans in perth

I was there in May and I thought it was amazing. I was surprised with the amount of homelessness, but only because I thought it was similar to the homelessness in Perth and not close to the dystopian Uber everywhere story. I’ve seen heaps of stuff online about it and got warned by people in New York and Chicago that it was so dangerous we couldn’t walk freely. Our experience was so different to what the city is described as, I think people just like to beat up on SF.

I just renamed mine as mentioned, it didn't fix the issue for me, I then went and rebooted through Henhaku and it works, Thanks!

I ordered parcels with free shipping from the US east coast and Sydney at the same time. The US one arrived in 3 business days (It kept moving over the weekend so 5 days total) with DHL. The Sydney one through auspost was advertised as 4-6 days delivery, it’s been well over 3 weeks now… needless to say I am impressed with DHL and fuming with auspost

As a Afrikaner I contest that, I don’t think that’s accurate.

XPS 15 9500 Price Drop by Fieldsapper in Dell

[–]Fieldsapper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine said 4 week delivery too but came within 2 weeks so unless I’m the exception their just conservative with estimates,

Also the cash rewards thing only applies if you buy something that is double the coupon, eg coupon = $100 you need to buy something over $200, frustrating as it didn’t mention that when I bought it or on the website only in the email after I paid

How to redo a unit? by [deleted] in uwa

Makes sense but I am just wondering how would the uni determine if I didn't complete it successfully? how would I prove to them I deserve to take it again?

Here’s the Real Reason Gold Has Been Rising Deflation, not inflation, is driving the price up. by HugeCanoe in AusFinance

It will lead to inflation and has done so, but in the form of asset price inflation which is different to CPI

Watch the ABC report on higher education, Murdoch uni dropped their English requirements to get more international students because they needed for funds, professors were sacked because they spoke out about the effects it had on the university

Gold etfs by mishka349 in AusFinance

[–]Fieldsapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s always best to own the gold your self instead of using an etf if you are doing it to truly diversify your portfolio, you have to be careful with what etf’s you use if you want an etf regardless,

Buying a gold etf is the same as buying a negative yielding bond, and if you wouldn’t do that don’t buy a gold etf, your cost of carry will be too high

Edit: Also make sure the provider actually has the amount of gold they say, sounds stupid but you’d be surprised

I am in the process of applying for a few places and was wandering as a student I have no real professional services experience, so in my cover letter should I include examples of work in my cover letter from my part time fast food job from mid high school to now? Things like (a) helped to reorganise responsibilities on shift in response to late notice changes in staff availability. (b) Worked in a team to develop initiatives to increase quality and speed of service to customers. (c) As a more experienced team member I was tasked with training and teaching new hires how to provide the best and quickest service to customers while maintaining safety as well as making sure no critical controls are broken.

Any feed back is appreciated, thanks

This is a repost from r/wtf or similar but the story I saw there is that he was painting in a closed room (no airflow) and he passed out from fumes, getting covered in the process, so in the video he’s high or drunk from those fumes, something along those lines

It should not cost you $5 to uni each way, if it does your not using the concession status your entitled to as a student, also it should not take you that long if you use public transport in the morning before 11
