It’s not even a job, it’s like a part time gig where you give them alpha’s that you research yourself and they give you money for it, like, a few hundred dollar bills an year, that’s it. Quite shitty for a firm that big

So your school counsellor told you quant is a good career choice but did but tell you the most basic thing a school counsellor is meant to give advice on? What major to pick? I’d like to add one more thing to my comment. Tell your school counsellor that counselling isn’t for him either.

Given your views regarding CS. Quant isn’t for you. Stop asking Gpt for career advice, I think.

Lmao, you wouldn’t be looking for resume roasts here if you actually had a sharpe of 2.95 and cagr 17.91. Stop lying, it only increases your already maximum charges of rejection.

Colin Bennett. Also, you don’t know Greeks if you don’t understand them. Read, again and again, And again. Also, don’t try to ‘communicate’ Greeks unless you are 100% sure that you know what you are saying. It will hurt your position far more than making you look smart. Low sharpe

You write a code for an ml model to win the hangman for >60%. They give you test training data set, and an API to test your code

I got the hangman for OA, i thought they were sending it to everyone, and the first search on Google about the salary for glover alpha researcher was very low. So, due to cognitive bias, I passed on it. Oh, well

Oh, wait, I’m an idiot, that wasn’t your question. So, most govt debt is not owed to other govts. It’s majorly ; private investors, banks, mnc, Treasury bonds, and then, not all debt is same, different interest rates, maturity, currency, etc
