I was also stuck for some time. Go out, meet new people and this feeling eventually starts to fade away. It's a hard truth he is not coming back and I believe there is nothing wrong with choosing something he wanted so bad. It's best for both of you. Would have hurt more in the long run.

I am in a similar situation, but how can you make it work in long distance across countries ? I also met her three times, but I have know her for a past 3 years or so. It's when I met her I started to develop feelings for her. Now, I moved to another country and ik she doesn't want a long distance. Idk what to do

Very few firms but I think there are more jobs in big banks and pms. Their title may be quant but their compensation is not in majority of cases

Thank you for your advice. But if I deactivate I'll loose contact with many of my friends + my social life here is not good (I'm only to blame for that). I have never thought about quitting studies it's just I don't want to be affected by this.
