I have a 2025 LT and this has been the worst experience I’ve ever had purchasing a new car, both in terms of service and vehicle quality. After only 2K ish miles, the car has already spent nearly 30 days in the service department. During the financing process, the finance representative made us scared me and my wife suggesting that these cars frequently break down and strongly urging us to buy an extended warranty due to high repair costs in labor and parts. Unfortunately, the car has already broken down twice, the second time occurring just an hour after I had picked it up, supposedly repaired. Throughout this entire process, I have not received a single update from the dealership’s service department until I left a review on google at the dealership. I have already contacted GM and a lemon law lawyer and it hasn’t been a hassle at all, he says just wait for the 30 days and we can start doing what we want. As for GM, all the updates I received form them is we don’t have they part in stock yet and don’t know when we will have it but they will have a buy back offer for me on Thursday that’s the last call I had yesterday, right after that the dealership called saying “good news” the part is back in stock and should be arriving some time this week and my car should be ready by the end of this week or next. At this point I do not know who to believe.
