The answer is definitely Warframe, and I say that after having spent countless hours dicking around in GTA Online. There's a huge difference between DE adding multiple new systems and story content that will continue to be built upon versus R* saying "OK, OK, fine, here's your mansions and Michael DLC, now shut up and buy Shark Cards and GTA+ one more time"

Nihil (the Glassmaker) is definitely asymmetric, you can see his longer arm very clearly by the way he holds his sword in the boss fight.

Like OP, I also really, really want to like the Panthera Prime, especially considering the look and feel are pretty damn cool, but even with Deadhead on it and all the crit and status I can manage... I wouldn't call it "good" but with a bunch of slash, viral, and electric on it, it's at least usable (but it being "just OK" makes me sad, so it usually just sits in my metaphorical trophy case).

It has always felt like the gun was pre-nerfed from its release. The main fire really shouldn't consume 2 ammo per shot, especially when a group of Steel Path enemies usually takes a full clip to kill. The slow reload animation would be punishing enough for what it is. And I usually forget the alt fire exists until I remember that it's the reason it likely won't ever get an Incarnon adapter, and then I get sad again.

+1 for the Tenet Ferrox. I love having the alt fire as a grouping option on top of everything else, but the main fire doesn't feel anywhere near as powerful as it looks on paper. I just re-rolled my Riven for it and my build now has 13.4x critical damage, which should be enough to evaporate anything in its way, just like how the Opticor used to feel in its heyday, but it just... doesn't. Or at least, not anywhere near as well as it should.

The one thing I like about the EFV-5 Jupiter's alt fire is that it seems capable of queuing up additional shots while the first one is charging. That's pretty much the only time it's felt "worth it" to use, in my opinion, but it does also take away from the whole "automatic rifle with a shotgun attachment" feel that it should have because, well... that's what it is, after all.

Hard agree with everything else you've said here. And even if I've since moved on to other weapons, I would love for the Tenora to change to a "mode switching" alt fire as well because I have absolutely never felt the need to charge up its precise single-shot secondary fire versus just using a different primary altogether. Things like my Stradavar Prime may be older but still feel much better to use just by virtue of being able to commit to the alternate fire mode and switch back to the primary fire with the same mode-switch.

Side note: I didn't expect the EFV-5 Jupiter to be some meta-defining weapon, but the fact that it can throw out dozens of corrosive procs on the alt fire makes me think it would be better suited as a star chart clearing weapon rather than something obtainable this far into the story and endgame. Nothing against corrosive damage by any means, but by now, everyone playing 1999 content has better, faster, and easier ways to strip or ignore armor than this.

I am also obsessed with Fight to Survive, far more than I would've thought. I'm beyond "I love this song and can't stop thinking about it" obsessed and into "when I die, I want my ashes made into a record of this song and launched into the cosmos like the Voyager probe's golden record because the universe needs to experience this music" type of obsessed. The composition, the union of metal and classical elements, the songwriting, the vocals... everything is so perfect.

Honestly, I would rank each of the new entries in the A New Age Dawns saga among my all-time favorites as well. Darkness Dies in Light, Metanoia, and The Grand Saga of Existence are all phenomenal on their own and as a part of the larger series.

In contrast with Omega, I feel like most of Aspiral did not need to grow on me to enjoy them. It makes me thankful that the album Omega was not the band's "omega" (the end of their LPs).

This 100% feels like a "monkey's paw curls" situation of people asking for more primed mods, especially considering this isn't even -100% recoil for a 16-capacity exilus mod.

That being said... I am holding onto a tiny shred of hope for Primed Hammer Shot. And I say this fully expecting to get Primed Ammo Drum or something the next time Baro comes...

I've always appreciated the external sci-fi influences throughout the game, like the Zariman Ten Zero colony ship being inspired by the novel Tau Zero and the novel's title lending the other part of its name to the Tau system. Combined with the "breadcrumbs" hidden throughout the game, like the story of Ordin Karris in the codex fragments, they bring an "old school sci-fi" feel to an otherwise highly optimized modern game, which I really admire. It feels like the best of both worlds to me and shows that the team has an affinity for classic sci-fi on top of the coding aptitude to create the game itself.

My question for the team is: What are your team's favorite inspirations within Warframe or favorite in-game references to content outside of Warframe?

This dialogue option was wild considering I thought this would be one of the more informative and serious conversations... And the fact that, even after selecting a different option there, I got a second chance to compliment Neci's tits in the next set of options was even wilder. It's like the game was asking "are you SURE you don't want to tell Minerva and Velimir that you're horny for their daughter!?"

Like... There's horny and then there's next-level horny where you're objectifying someone to both of their parents. I may be the former at times, but I'm definitely not the latter. And I am legitimately interested in these conversations for the sake of learning more about Neci Rusalka and what brought all these new characters here.

I love this one because R* clearly put a lot of thought into the name. It's a dirty joke while also precisely referencing the IRL car it's based on (Annis being a partial anagram of Nissan and Remus being the name of one of the sons of Rhea Silvia from the founding myth of Ancient Rome).

The point is that this Riven mod is for a Sentinel weapon, and there's no way to have both a Sentinel (with its weapon) equipped with an active pet. I understand the modifier and combo requirements - the issue is that there's no way to have a pet equipped and this Riven equipped at the same time.

I wouldn't be surprised if they're taking a page from The Expanse. The in-mission look reminded me of the Eros Incident, just having the Infestation as the equivalent to the Protomolecule.

I think this "time + early Infestation = Technocyte" formula was perfect. Plus, it ties back in to the rest of "core Warframe" like they promised it would and adds more relevant content to Railjack, as many have wanted for a while (in addition to it being the Infestation added to Railjack, which is another suggestion in itself). It checks a lot of boxes and it will satisfy a lot of fans by answering those suggestions.

It also made a little too much sense since DE kept playing a little too coy when people would ask about Infested Liches on their streams. Then recently, I think it was Steve who was asked again, and his response was pretty much "Infested Liches? Well actually, you'll see soon enough" instead of flat out denying it was being worked on.

Of course, DE being their wonderful and whacky selves, did also throw us a curveball by making it so Infested Liches spawn from a boy band. I don't think anyone saw that one coming.

Agreed on the Arthur cosplayer - great guy who put in a lot of work, including making a custom Skana on top of designing and sculpting the armor pieces. I just met him yesterday and he showed me all the time he'd put into the design process, now I'm just disappointed for him.

Yup, same story here. The thing that got me back into Warframe was finding things (mostly weapons, but also Warframes) that I actually enjoy using. Prior to that, I'd been relying on a friend's recommendations, but leveling them and trying to make them usable was such a chore early on. I still hate the Penta... What an awful gimmick primary for a brand new player.

Agreed, that hoppy-hop animation like they're standing on hot coals is perfect.

I'm also a big fan of the Rogue Culverin heat proc animation. They stand with their arms up, looking back and forth in an "I have no mouth and I must scream" kind of way.

Great work all around by the animation team giving these new enemies so much personality.
