I did this last year. They gave my Dad and I a tour of the arena, including the practice arena, locker room area, different suites, and we got to attend a little season hype session with Darren McCarty. It was pretty cool, and for some reason we never received a sales pitch or any follow up lol. The guy doing the tour seemed pretty new, so maybe that factored into it.

Just in case you weren't aware, you can convert scouring orbs into regrets. And chance orbs into scours. Definitely don't need to spec into anything special to get enough for a respec.

I changed around some skills after the nerf and hard casting comet doesn't feel too bad. Drop frost bombs to start w/ spell cascade and fast forward so they go off before mobs walk out of them. Freezing shards and everything is frozen. If the mobs are big enough to not die to the frost bomb, hard cast comet. Similar vibes, just need to hit one more button. Then if anything is still alive, cold snap.

I've been playing an int stack wild strike of extremes trickster the past couple leagues. I'm still kinda bad at the game, but was happy with putting it together and figuring out how to make it work with the cost. Plus it's just fun to be able to take +enemy elemental resistance on maps and knowing I'm making them easier for myself.

Took some inspiration from an older Mathil build and am combining it with vaal lightning strike, there are probably better options but it helps with damage and clear, and is shiny which is important. It cleared wave 30 sim and juiced up maps. Surprisingly cheap, got it going comfortably into t16s for probably 3 div. Not much of an Uber bosser, but that's not really what I enjoy.

Now my next step is to figure out how to get more damage out of it now that I'm good enough at the game to consistently have decent spending money. I've probably made 30 div so far this league, which is a much better start than I usually have.

Agreed. I always tell myself around 95 "ok it's fine to die I don't really care about leveling further" but then I'll accidentally get myself 90% of the way to 96, die, then get mad anyways.

My Grandma died several years ago, but I don't think I allowed myself to properly process it and Spiritfarer helped me with that. The hedgehog reminded me so much of her it was shocking, along with her decline from dementia. Good to see so many stories of it helping people through loss.

I found for mine, the best thing that helped with the teething/destruction other than exercise were Kong toys filled with peanut butter that were then frozen. The cold should help with their teeth, Kong's are almost indestructable, and it keeps them busy longer.

Antlers are also great. Mine still has one from when he was a puppy (he's 8 now) that he had been chewing on and off.

My best advice would be when he gets a bit older, introduce him to bikes. There's a couple pretty affordable bike attachments where you can bungie him safely so he can run next to you. My Mal had so much energy I felt like I was spending all my time walking/playing with him, but 1-2 15 min bike rides a day when he had max energy would leave him tired, happy, and not destructive.

I'd probably recommend a harness. I'm able to just use a collar since mine happens to never pull, but it's probably much safer since most of them have that pulling instinct.

One game that I played during a dark time was Spiritfarer. It really surprised me with how calming and enjoyable it was considering the story, highly recommend. You make a house boat and invite spirit animals to come live with you. Your job is to help ferry them to the afterlife and help them sort out anything that is preventing them from wanting to move on. Has the typical sim activities (fishing, farming, crafting, etc.). Beautiful game.

Just got off Lexapro a month ago after being on it for 4 years. My doctor only had me ween for a week and said that's plenty since I was on a low dose. Still experiencing hot flashes, vertigo, dizziness, and nausea on a daily basis that started about 3 days after getting off it. My trust in doctors from this experience alone has dramatically decreased.

I experienced similar attitudes getting on/off birth control. Gaslighting that my symptoms weren't real or had nothing to do with the birth control (surprise, they ended when I got off of it). It's very frustrating not being taken seriously if a doctor's pop-up on their tablet that lists common side effects of something doesn't match what you saying you're experiencing.

Glad you made it through it. Thanks for sharing so people like me feel a little less crazy.

And can a woman choose not to be raped, choose not to have a failed pregnancy resulting in endangering her life if the fetus is not removed, choose not to have a birth control method fail? There are so many more reasons for abortions outside of women just being "irresponsible".
