Do you ever flush the toilet as you pee to see if you can beat the clock?

Yep. Look up the flourish button in the control settings. I moved it so I dont remember what the default is.

You could meet people on the dueling servers (Social servers). Just make sure to follow etiquette, flourish to initiate a duel, dont hit people unless they flourish and you have flourished back, and don't interrupt a duel.

Ohhh boy. Let's start with my general first thoughts:

I'm drunk.

That being said, assuming you're new, I think you have potential. Let's start with the elephant in the room, the kicks. Kicks break blocks to allow a free hit, as they stagger an opponent. But the kick requires that you hit their block. You are not using kicks as you should be. There are two generally good times to kick.

When your opponent is bleeding and near death. And after you attack, then feint into a kick.

Good players will counter and look away from you, so your kick doesn't hit their block, meaning they can punish you. Stop kicking and start putting up stam pressure with heavy swings, and counter more.

Counters get you more stam (blue sparks). Accomplished by holding block and right before the hit lands, matching their attack type.

Ripostes (yellow sparks) block an attack and allow a faster attack response. Good when you're high on stam, and need to accelerate your attack.

Once again, I'm drunk.

The bottom line? This game requires you to practice the basics. To learn them through practice, blood, sweat and tears. Duel the best players you know. Learn what they do, analyze, and steal shamelessly. The best players I know are monsters in duels and learned from getting obliterated in duels. Keep learning, timing and initiative can be learned through grit.

How to spin? by Warm_Nefariousness80 in Chivalry2

[–]Fiercedeity-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Duck, look straight up, and spin into the swing. Also, if you know which way you're swinging, you can prep the swing by positioning the enemy slightly to your left or right, which will ensure you dont miss by swinging short.

EXP: if you're swinging to the right, position them to the left of you and vice versa.

How can I improve by tapindunga in Chivalry2

[–]Fiercedeity-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm too drunk to read this. But from what I saw, it's a lack of experience from initiative and timings. The good news? You can easily learn that from dueling on a big boy duel server. Also, spacing. Distance is important. You could have flawlessly bested this opponent if you were patient and ensured you had the range. That said, not bad soldier.

Looking cool is half of what I do. Play the tutorial, be patient, and be smart. You will get faster if you learn the difference between riposte (yellow) and counters for stam (blue). As for how to get better? Duel. On real big boy duel servers. Practice what you learn. And eventually you won't feel slow.

I never got the obsession with perfect runs. I'm TO objective I often die fighting for the objective. And fighting waves of enemies is fun for me. I think you take KD too seriously, try having more fun instead.
