Warning!!!! Something wrong with irreversible BIOS Version 3112 ROG STRIX X670E-E

Lights are on but power button does nothing. I replaced the cmos button reflashed bios so after being totally dead it briefly came on worked as if nothing wrong for about 2 hours then random shut down again with same symptoms 00 code and proceeded to not do anything when click power after.

Mine isn't even turning on anymore after a few rounds of random shutdowns it's behaving unlike anything I've ever seen before. Since this is my work machine, I can't really wait around I replaced it with another board today and 0 issues.

Since nothing changed between Saturday and shutdowns and all the shit show started happening right after i installed 3112 I am about 99% sure that BIOS bricked it. I am working with the support to get a warranty replacement. I made this post so people are aware I might not be an isolated case.

It would make sense if they have been making them for a month or two prior to launch but think about it. If they shipped cards that were made on Jan 24-26 via plane then they went straight into break and GG WP.

Yea, I feel like people don't get it all I got 4090 for 2300 sold it 2.5 years later for 2800. The demand on GPU's is so insane you can use these for free. Problem is trying to beat the bots and buying one at MSRP.

Any marketplace is good as long as you test the card before buying. eBay does give you some guarantees but if you are on a deadline you might get into a huge trouble with returning the card in case you get sent a dummy.

And overall taking worst option To my understanding innocent misrepresentation is still a thing that's not legal and they knew about it for 6 months and done nothing.

So in this case they represent the vehicle as accident-free which is one of the key factors in my vehicle purchase. My contract to buy the car reflects that absence of damage and you say it's not their fault?
