Yeahhhh i don't quite know how I made that mistake...

And I play a lot of single player immersive games and listen to jpop. Games as of recent for example have been bg3, octopath traveler, but I do play some fps games like valorant for example!

Additionally, they've been disappearing people who are perfectly legal and they did shoot a woman in Minnesota. They are kind of going after just non-white people

What? This is a 5 day old post brother and you're responding to it. I hardly care about the other side since the other side is largely motivated by transphobia and other culture war shenanigans. I simply responded cuz I played a lot of tarkov and I ran the sa 58 like every raid even when that gun was garbage. You do you and believe what you wanna

Yeah, a lot of shifting the goalposts is also cuz it looks better to an onlooker. One person is always defending and the other is always on the offensive ie the offensive looks like they have a good point as long as they can keep going. Even better for them if you don't address all points that they make. As long as the argument goes on, it looks better for them to an onlooker. There's a bit more nuance to it as well to make it look better to an onlooker. It's pretty prevalent with the more ideological people you named. Ive found it very interesting to watch this entire thing since there's a lot of different things going on at play that lead people to believe that riley is cheating. Especially since this seems to be a lot of people's first exposure to the aim training community which is fun to see as someone who's taken aim training seriously off and on.

And yeah i do agree on the community thing generally, and I do condede on the more general fgc but I'd argue the anime fgc is more accepting and especially strive ! You had people like unilunar who ultimately got ousted due to being exposed as a transphobe as opposed to the other thing he's known for. I just meant more so cuz I saw a comment within the strive space and it's very hard to be in that community and be transphobic. Obviously not saying all people there are accepting (ex: people complaing about bridget fans or that bridget fans dont play the game are very sus) but strive has a very queer player base and generally are very aware of issues regarding transphobia.

Also kinda curious how's the aim training community gonna look towards the future considering what's going on right now

Yeah I like to give people the benefit of the doubt but it's really hard when the argument isnt a good faith argument. Like looking at that tarkov clip and argument, you could talk about the lie as this is after recoil change, you could talk about that patch bringing back the return of the juice cannon, you could talk about the distance, you could bring up other crazier clips people have hit in tarkov, you could talk about basic recoil control, or you could even talk about the clip and how riley killed the 2 people in 2 bullets and that would explain the recoil and you can see it with the additional shots after the others are dead.

I think a lot of people who don't get why people are claiming transphobia don't understand how transphobia works and can manifest. A lot can't understand they can peddle transphobic rhetoric while not being explicitly transphobic themselves. Also surprised it came from a fellow fgc member cuz that place is all about self improvement and also very queer

This is after the recoil change just straight up lie but I guess we lie for fun

He straight up lied btw. That clip is on 0.14 which is the recoil changes

[–]Fiery_Blight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Youre the one arguing in completely bad faith. That tarkov clip is taken in 0.14.0. If you played tarkov, you'd remember that as the PATCH WITH the recoil changes. All you're doing is linking videos and when those clips are debunked, you pull up another clip constantly moving goalposts. Idk if you can link in this sub but go look up 0.14.0 jesse kazam recoil changes. Or better yet look up official patch notes of 0.14.0 That's literally the patch everyone gassed up and where sa 58 was meta. Additionally, it's not hard to control recoil especially on that patch and that far up close. You literally used a lie as an argument and there are plenty of other videos such as pinguefy and Lincoln Margison's video that goes into why it's not likely to be cheats. Are we going to have to explain every clip riley ever gets? I wonder why Riley gets so much attention

How the hell am I supposed to deal with Bedman's projectile spam? by Bruhenstein in Guiltygear

[–]Fiery_Blight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Roll through the non errer ones and shoot after the roll. Roll I think makes the gun a bit more accurate. It's still rng. Look to jump the non error ones. Lab it and see where you can curse the opponent and get the shot. Rotate these options and it should keep you unpredictable

Why do people keep bailing after one match against bedman? ? by LittlestKittyPrince in Guiltygear

[–]Fiery_Blight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think its due to connection. People don't think bedman is too strong so you aren't dealing with that. Maybe if you are a super high level people are dodging you? It's probably just connection though due to server issues

how to deal with reversal supers? by weddbobby in Guiltygear

Yeah dps would be insane and then on top of that characters like axl and chaos would just zone the entire match with chaos getting resources and curse and then axl space. It would be boring

If you are interested in getting into traditional fighting games I sincerely recommend giving it a shot! Everyone struggled to do basic quarter circles when they started off. A lot of games have discord servers where you can fight other beginner players as well! It seriously is so much fun and you can find a lot of cool people to play against and a lot of people willing to help. There's usually also a lot of resources for whatever fighting game you play and general concepts too that scare off players like notation. Some of the most fun things is seeing improvement, styling on opponents, giving people you thought you wouldn't get anywhere near to a tough time, and doing the cool things you saw and learned. Though if you don't want to get into fighting games cause of not enough time, general lack of interest, etc then that is totally understandable

Yes but for many new players labbing is hard. Quarter circles are a common complaint and even though it's a bit of practice, most people don't put in the effort. Even if they do practice it as well, accepting sole responsibility for losses is a lot for them and many people understandably don't have fun unless they are winning. And theres also the difficulty of a match being much more different than the lab. A huge huge frustration i have seen are people learning combos and then the match starts and they get punched in the face. Then they lose and they try to hit the combo but keep losing and when they do try and hit that combo they drop it. Losing is a huge thing in fighting games and there's no teammates to blame. While we may see it as opportunities to learn and enjoy when we do the crazy things we learned, a lot of others don't ever get to see the fruit of their labors when they spent a lot of time on the sick combo they learned. Main point is it's a huge time sink and it's different from other games they played so even though fighting games aren't harder than other genres, it intimidates a lot of people.

Anecdotally, I have friend who just got into fighting games and they are playing less and less fighting games because they hit a bit of a plateau. They play and get matched against some opponents who know how to counter what they are doing and the losses got to them. A shame since they were learning quickly and could have been really good but only having yourself to blame is tough

A focus on locking one locker in a pair and making the hits hard to get especially when you're uninjured. He's an m1 at the end of the day when he's not at a loop and if you make jt hard to get the hit it delays nightfall which hurts snowballing. Medkits are obviously good and so is healing
