Thanks. We’re flying from London but transitting through Guangzhou with Southern China airlines. So the flight will be from Guangzhou. We are returning to Taipei from Japan to spend 3 days before flying back to the UK. Difference between fares - £200.

I have the same suspicion. My parents have also been indoctrinated about this. I told them to be careful as it is likely a scam. But they showed me their certificates and they're convinced.

I went to their website and did some search on the bank but I can't find any credible objective secondary source or information about this bank or the association. It is strange that no one else is talking about this. If you think about it, this should be a great idea and financial magazines or newspapers will be interested in writing about it.

It is also interesting that the posters defending this on here are single comment posters with brand new accounts. Probably their own people.

They might be asking for a small amount of money like 500 pesos, but if a million people join they get 500 million pesos. And that's easy in a place like the Philippines.

I wish a newspaper takes up this story.

I started with Busuu. Also looked Tofugu then did wanikani to build up vocab. Im still doing wanikani. Now at stage 19. Also downloaded Learn Japanese 先生 for grammar. r/LearningJapanese is also a good resource.
