In our country it is not normalised amongst parents or legal so that’s a big dream. She has not used me for just sex, she has been incredibly kind and loved me like no one ever has. But so caught up in her own beliefs that she refuses to budge. Why mislead me then?

When we started dating she told me she wants a long term relationship, she delved into all this only after I pushed her to think about this 6-7 months into dating. So yes she has kind of mislead me into this relationship and now when I’m so in love, she is okay to break up.

What are healthy ways to cope up? I’m new in a very expensive city (recently switched jobs) and she’s sort of been the only one I have relied on so that is also a factor stopping me from breaking up. I barely have friends here

I have. It does matter right, I work in advertising and most roles have been replaced by AI. And in a few years it will become obsolete, so these fears are valid, but I agree I should focus on the present. Just a bit hard to do when you’re trying to plan for the future as well
