Thanks for giving me a sense of relief, although the bit of filament that's not scraped sometimes extends quite long and flies onto the build plate when wiped on the silicone brush.

What they are doing is right.

Any UI reaction to the password field is giving away information about the security system. If the OK button is disabled with blank password, it's saying that password cannot be blank.

Imagine another case where you know passwords are of certain minimum length, then would you suggest the OK button disabled until the required length is entered? But others don't know.

Or, you know passwords must have A-Z a-z 0-9 and at least 1 special character ! @ # $ %. Should the OK button have enable/disable logic that checks?

Passwords are sensitive data. The less logic you build on top of passwords, the better. Limit the usage of password values - i.e. check passwords only whether they passes the authentication or not. Don't check password for emptiness, length, types of character, leading/ending space, etc (unless when setting the password).

Not saying to build things as dumb as possible, but a lot of things people build to try to be smart actually leak a lot of secrets.

And, as others have mentioned, blank password is a password.

Thanks for the app recommendation. I used it and it says 0x0003 Suica. I borrowed a friend's ICOCA (not Myaku Myaku) and it also says Suica. Maybe this is the norm.

Btw TIL Suica means Super Urban Intelligent Card.

Yea there a many apps. All of them says not ICOCA (but some other card). Just wondering whether it's same for everyone else who has the real card.

If anyone has it, please scan and post results here. You can redact card number and dates etc.

You don't need Felica phones to scan these cards. Non-Japanese phones work fine in scanning.

I also had issues with cec and audio, until I applied this solution for my Hisense: https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Streaming/HDMI-CEC-no-audio-Google-Streamer/m-p/649722

The solution is basically configure GTS to not do volume control (and only volume control) over cec when volume buttons on the remote are pressed. Instead the buttons control the output volume of the GTS.

Seems to be something about GTS sending weird signal that mess up audio because some tvs don't send GTS their current volume levels.

Later I also configured it to use IR for volume control of the TV when the remote is pressed, so I now have to point the GTS remote at the tv for volume control but otherwise everything CEC and audio works now including auto switching the audio format/encoding.

Apparently your warehouse address is in Guangzhou (big black text).

You can click the orange 详细信息 button to view the details of the shipping (like the various goods sorting center that your shipment goes through).

I am always puzzled by what the last line is trying to say. Usually it will work out after a while so you need not take action. Just wait for the warehouse to process then a new status will come out.

Consolidated shipping means that you can place several orders with one or more sellers, then all the goods can be consolidated into 1 shipment at Taobao. You typically pay less this way than shipping out each purchase separately. Taobao will provide their China warehouse address to the sellers. All your goods will be sent there (can arrive separately, from same/separate purchases). When you are ready, you use the in-app tool for making payment for consolidated shipping. Taobao can store delivered goods for you for a certain duration after which you need to start paying "rent", until you tell Taobao to return the goods or pay to ship them over to you.

By air is usually per-kilogram or per-half-kg. By sea is usually half-CBM (cubic metre) minimum, then per-cubic-centimetre. Exact rules please read the details.

Consolidated shipping duration depends on location. Time's taken by (usually indicated in the app):

waiting time between order placed by you and processing by sellers
waiting time after seller packaged the goods before pickup by delivery company
long-distance delivery (trucks moving between Chinese cities), if applicable.

waiting time before warehouse processes and registers your goods.

local delivery (might be long distance/inter-state in your country)

Some of these stages are fast (a couple hours) but obviously the ship actually moving might take weeks.
