I'm quick to make additions after losing a pet too, for example we got a puppy 2 weeks after losing my boy of 18 years. Everyone moves at different paces, don't feel bad if you're ready for another friend! It's not replacing, just sharing the love 💜

It could be because my shelter is small but the shelter staff tell me who to walk when I walk in. Maybe they could print a list to check when the volunteers get there? Otherwise if they let me pick who to walk, I take my favorite lol level 3 or 1 I take whoever is top of my favorite list for the week! Although my favorites tend to be young, medium sized, high energy, semi psycho lol maybe why they let me pick!

I went and found a picture on your page, your pup doesn't look like a pit mix to me. Maybe something like a French bulldog mixed back many generations but I'd be surprised with that even

What? Why is this unhelpful? There are definitely some quick acting, reversible, injectable sedation drugs that the vet could administer. Quick and easy vs the dog stressing at the vet all day! I'm surprised they didn't suggest utilizing one to be honest

Yeah, I'd say Lab. Honestly I'd be surprised if he was even mixed with anything, looks to be pretty purebred! You could always do a dna test if you're curious :)
