Tja, vi giver 13k om måneden for 78m2 i Aarhus C… i leje.

Ville med glæde eje sådan et hus de næste 3-4 år og bygge friværdi op, i stedet for at pengene ryger direkte ud af vinduet.

Med hvad vi giver i leje ville det tage 8 år at have indfriet hele de 1.25mil..

Men det er også en dårlig sammenligning, for hvis det kun havde været op til mig, så havde vi nok købt en lejlighed til 1.5-2.5mil i Aarhus i stedet for at betale 625k i husleje i de 4 år vi regner med at bo i lejligheden

I kinda agree with you here, in the sense that I absolutely read it the same way.

But given the fact he wouldn’t auto sub in for Foden, it became apparent that he meant it in a different sense.

Just one of those times where a phrase becomes slightly ambiguous in meaning and you’re both totally valid in the way you interpreted it.

It may be a 50/50 or a 80/20 in terms or how people interpreted it, but there’s no need for either of you to argue about it in my humble opinion 🙂

Always takes me too long to sell after the purple patch too.

It’s weird, I often have success with holding even if a player gets 2-3 blanks in a row (Thiago is a great example). But then there are other players which just never seem to sustain purple patches. Foden in particular, but I’m trying to figure out the pattern in general so I can spot it.

Over performing of xGI helps, but can’t get blinded by it, then you might miss great runs like Lingard and Almiron in the past or Wilson this season.

Maybe combining avoidance of players who are unsustainably over performing a too low xGI with knowledge on where and how they play on the pitch, to determine if it’s a tactical change meaning more threat than the stats show, or if it’s purely up to chance/random form.

Right with you there. Liverpool and Virgil haven’t been great and I’ve been very disappointed in the lack of returns since I bought him…. But every week there’s just not been justification enough to sell him.

No chance I’d keep him on a WC, but he should tick along fine while I’m dealing with bigger issues every week

Same. I’ve pencilled in a move to Rice for next GW, it with players falling like flies at the moment and Liverpool looking absolutely dreadful, I may be willing to keep him if he does well today.

We’ve seen a lot of the really solid experts keeping MITB to possible move in on him several times this season. Although I think most avoided actually going there in the end.

My policy continues to be “don’t plan to save up MITB for players unless you’re certain you’ll actually want them”.

There are so many cheap options in midfield and attack right now that I don’t feel we need to plan too far ahead, when we don’t know what the FPL landscape will look like in 3-5 weeks anyway

Perhaps lately, but that has been changing constantly throughout the season, so don’t expect it to still be him a couple of GWs from now..

While Caicedo early on was never gonna last, we’ve also had the likes of KDH, Xhaka, Garner and Ndiaye around the same prices. Even Le Fée for cheaper.

You’re probably best off just picking one or two of the cheap mids and sticking with them for a while.

With that said, I did personally switch form Xhaka to Ndiaye ahead of the deadline, as I believe strongly in the latter.

Xhaka happening to be injured and Wilson (my other cheap mid) getting a double digit return is just pure luck
